The scene where Lexy melts into Cherise is just weird and offputting, this is the strangest fetish I've seen by far.
Also, the sex scenes blow. They have little-to-no detail and no multiple CGs. That would be excusable if it was one or the other, but it's basically like trying to find a summary of a fic hot or something.

I don't feel like screencapping it, but you can actually befriend Krypto and give them a part that Ike gives you as part of a scheme to get them to leave. Vess, the singing rabbat, will encourage you to be "patient" with Krypto to get a higher score (they give you hints for several things to increase your score, including this). Makes me feel really uncomfortable to befriend a kid in a sex shop.

Which raises some questions that I tried very carefully to navigate.
I didn't have much opportunity to go into it, but I hope it was clear that nudity is not unusual or uncommon in this world? Even outside fuck zones?
Outside of horny contexts, Flora characters' genitals seem to vanish entirely. Like cartoon characters. No one knows why!
And since boobs aren't as common, they aren't sexualized to such an extreme, so no one cares if they're covered or not.
I hope that was clear enough and it doesn't seem like Cerise was flashing a minor all week. Especially since Alice, um, does sexualize them.
But Alice sexualizes EVERYTHING, and I tried to make it clear (as always) that Alice is not someone whose behavior should be uncritically emulated.

I mean, ultimately, Krypto is a great game mechanic. The game is about scheduling to have the most sex, and you can't do it with Krypto there.

I think my favorite, um, mini-arc, is where they're explicitly hypocritical several times, then kind of own it against Lexy?
They say something like, you care about the rules but I don't. And, wow! I played it for laughs up until that point, and suddenly, oh fuck.
I think that line encapsulates something vital: they know EXACTLY what they're doing. Maybe being forced to admit it is a sign that Lexy knew, too.
Wow, it's weird to be talking about characters and dialogue I wrote, as if their motivations were a mystery to me. Fiction is wild.
There's a lot to unpack here, but my main thought is... Yes, there are obviously naked, non-sexual characters in Floraverse, because sometimes animal people don't wear clothes. But when you put a naked slime girl with giant boobs, with visible nipples, in a sex shop, in an "amorous zone" which is basically a sex district, how am I supposed to not immediately interpret the nudity as a sex thing that a minor ends up witnessing? Other instances of nudity might not be sexual, but that one definitely is. I think context matters here.
The comment about boobs being "uncommon, and thus exotic and not sexualized to an extreme" did get me wondering, though. Like the argument already has flaws - if a viewer already sees boobs as sexual, why wouldn't they see them that way here? - but how many characters are there with boobs in Floraverse as a whole? Off the top of my head, and from briefly glancing over the comic pages, I can only name Cerise, Peche (the character from Cherry Heart), Mellie (sometimes), and Amdusias. Even then Amdusias seems to only be drawn with visible cleavage on forbiddenflora (compare Before You Know It from the main site and Something Greater from Forbiddenflora), and Mellie gets treated similarly, mostly because she can attach/detach body parts, with "no parts" being her default state. In other words, most examples I can think of are on the porn site.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it feels to me like Floraverse as a whole treats boobs almost the complete opposite of what Eevee is saying - uncommon, yes, but almost purely sexualized when shown. Which feels kind of bad to me, especially since PK has put uncensored cartoon boobs on their main twitter before, trying to act like they totally aren't doing that.
Glip has never once presented Alice's behavior as anything but sexy and laudable, and every ounce of criticism she's ever received has been met with screeching.
Alice sexualizing everything isn't the problem; launching into an unstable, violent tirade about how she's going to smash a potion someone ordered for some reason, then suddenly demand to slobber all over Cerise's tits and being allowed to -- that's the problem. I counted like three moments in my playthrough alone where someone comes in and asks for something Cerise doesn't stock and Cerise points them to Alice's shop. One of these customers replies that everyone's warned them NOT to go to Alice, and Cerise's reply is basically "Tee hee, yeah, she's dangerous and probably going to inflict something permanent on you, but you should still check her out!" And they agree to go check her out.
