And there's literally no reason to even do these videos other than exposure of himself

By that logic, Pewdiepie is the biggest ween because he brought a lot of attention to Chris. Geno is largely inoffensive to me because IMO he does more to bring sympathy to Chris and doesn't really glorify the trolling.

I don’t think Geno’s documentary series enables w3ėns or encourages more people to make videos about Chris. I doubt the w3ėns are interested in facts about Chris’ earlier life, other than the JULAYing, and assorted ‘shock’ videos from yore. Seems like most of Geno’s viewers are somewhat versed in Christory and listen to his videos in the background while doing something else. I know that’s what I do and I haven’t felt the urge to start a YouTube channel. Of course, this doesn’t apply to everyone.

I can't really agree with that, it's been a while since I've seen that video, but I remember getting the sense he was just interested in a casual sense.

Watching this made me realise that Chris would be a pretty great let’s player or game livestreamer if he put as much effort into that as he into his Animal Crossing documentaries;
In these he’s talking the whole time while playing the game, it lasts a long time and it’s actually unintentionally funny.

His Uncharted livestream on the other hand was 20 minutes of bad gameplay with almost zero talking, only breaking his silence at the end to say "I beat the level, now gimme five bucks!"

Geno seems like an empathetic guy, and pretty young as well. If yr not old and jaded, I can see it wearing on a person after a while, as opposed to callous old fucks lol-ing and eating popcorn while editing their videos.

I remember in one of his Q and As he said he should have had a more neutral tone in the earlier episodes and not try to make jokes or make fun of Chris and merely present him for what he is. I understand having a hard time continuing or expanding on something when you aren't satisfied with how you even started the project. Hopefully this will push him in the right direction.

I don't fault Geno for redoing his first episodes. He hasn't taken ALL the humor out of his re-done videos. Though it might only register on those already well versed in christory, as in episode 2 he mentioned Chris making his first Sonichu medallion out of 'Crayola Model Magic and Acrylic Paint' in a very specific cadence that anyone familiar with the Liquid Chris saga will recognize and chuckle at.

Honestly Chris is someone who got his emailed hacked quite often in the early days(meaning he used the same password everywheres with sonichu in it), so more than likely the emails came from one of his trolls.
