Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Is Monica really going to argue it's against her safety? Does she think it's a rational argument to pretend Vic is just going to run up to her and molest her the minute he sees her like some kind of mindless animal?

Feminazis alway cry out "My safety" when they are running away from being arrested for shooting an innocent man in the face, who they shot for the sake of committing an act of pure evil for the sake of doing evil. Because being held accountable for their sin, is "being threatened" since they've been raised to think that being a woman means you can never be held accountable for your actions, no matter how vile and evil.

Daman Mills, Funimation voice actor of Monaka from Dragon Ball Super, is pulling out as well.

Now that Vic is coming back, it looks like Sabat and Rials are executing their plan to kill KamehaCon by having Funimation voice actors pull out. Even if this is KamehaCon's last convention (and I would hate for that to be the case since I love the idea of a Dragon Ball-centric con), I hope that Vic supporters put their money where their mouth is and go or at least support the con through other ventures.

It depends on the genre.

It's easier to jump from one kind of soap opera to another if they're the same rough genre.

PR as a soap opera is going to weighted differently if you then go to a dirty soap melodrama than, say, a headlining performance in showtunes Off-Broadway; that's all I'm trying to express.

It should also be noted that, during the Disney years at least, Disney hired a lot of actors out of Canada who had moderate acting experience. Several members of SPD for instance, had resumes that included shows that filmed in Vancouver and other Canada filming hotspots. Granted, this was due to the fact that during the Disney years, the sentai scenes were rather straight up cut and paste with few exceptions, so emphasis was placed on the non-morphed scenes and as such, they went out of their way to get people with acting talent.

What is with this "safety" shit that people are bringing up.

There will be security as Kameha Con.

There will be people with phones and cameras at Kameha Con.

Based on what I heard from Nick's streams, Ty and the Amazons, Vic's lawyers, are going to be at the convention.

What fucking safety issues are present? Why do your "morals" have more weight than the legal circumstances of your presence at Kameha Con.

And who is "our"?

Jesus.

I wish these utter fucking dimwits luck trying to pull this shit on a judge.

They do this evil, vile shit because they do the calculation in their heads:

1. That their victims don't have the money to sue them for what they did

2. That even if they DO have the money, they can crowdsource from the SJW death kult they are a part of, to stall stall stall like crazy and basically bankrupt their victim before seeing a day in court

3. Even if they DO get brought before a court, they've already destroyed their victims lives and any court settlement will be like a bandaid on a severed hand stump and more to the point, there are a TON of additional stall tactics they can use (appeals or moving to a state like Florida which has laws making it outright impossible to collect a civil judgement on someone who lives there, refusing to pay period. Or in the case of Al Sharpton during the Tawanda Brown rape hoax? Have a rich friend outright pay the civil judgement against him, as Sharpton had a rich BFF literally cut a check to pay the judgement against him for spending years accusing an innocent cop of a rape that never even happened, so Sharpton wouldn't have to spend a dime of his own on it/continue to slime the cop never admit to any wrongdoing.

This actually makes a lot of sense and might prove Shane isn't 100% lost if he's realizing that these people are NOT his friends and don't give a flying fuck about him or his interests.

It's not that I don't think the VAs give a shit about cons. They make a lot of money from them. I think it's that nobody really gives much of a shit about Shane's con. And I think Shane is even beginning realize it.

From what I understand, Nomikai is kinda a joke. It also sounds like a "revenge con." They charged $10 at-door attendance in 2018 (for the people who have never been to one of these, that's really low). He didn't report attendance figures. They couldn't have been very impressive.

Supposedly, the entire purpose of the con's existence is that Shane got booted out of A-Kon, and he's salty AF. In addition to the insider that Hero_Hei interviewed, there's an interesting thread that touches on this here:

4Chan's /egl/ also found his performance against Rekieta embarrassing:

I honestly do want someone to just call them out. Not "I respect your decision" or any of that crap, to blatantly call them out and go "There will be crowds of fans recording, security, REAL lawyers present right beside Vic, how much safer can you get?!", but I know they'd just repeat the line of "Regardless of reason, I have a right to, don't question further, blah blah blah".

Also: "we", "our", come on. Just come on. This isn't even verbal conversation where slipping up is super easy. You have TIME to sit there and think out your tweets and you still fuck it all up. I can honestly say this entire controversy could be explained to someone who knows nothing about it as "Yeah a shit ton of people broke the law and then bragged about it and handed lawyers everything they needed, crazy huh?"

It was nice of Daman Mills to mention that they are coordinating their after party,

"we're working on a way to make this up to fans."

Despite being late as fuck, the connecting piece of interest is the bolded, redlined & highlighted sentence from his post.

Run that list of names we have back so far.

How many of those are Funimation contractors currently working with the company?

More reason to start updating a list of names.

Separate the opportunist hobbyist/thot streamers from the VA talent, no matter how "small fry" the VA might be.

This shit might have gone corporate, all the way down the line now.
