I'll explain it like this.

Zoom does not do any of his own work. The Tonka stuff he got from Zeph, and he's previously admitted to this. The stuff he has on anyone has been done by other people and he just takes credit for it. For example:

This is the stream where Zoom calls me stolen valor (timestamped appropriately). he admits he didn't know anything about me--despite asking "two Recon Marines" about me and claiming they couldn't find anything on me at all--until I posted a redacted enlisted DD-214 to counter the claims by Joachim Hoch (who I'd just posted the Army said he was using someone else's CAC as his own to claim he was in the National Guard) and Queen of Bantz--as well as Tonka and Vamp--that I was stolen valor. He used that, dug up a little bit, couldn't find anything on me after my name change. Towards the end of the dispute--after I've literally fallen out of my chair laughing at him--he tells me to put out everything else, unredacted, because he "already had all the information on my family".

In general, don't provide him anything, he goes away. Even if you do, he'll make baseless accusations and stand by them, even as everyone with a functioning brain is telling him he's an idiot.

It's safe to say that if he claims to have information on you that he's dug up, he's either lying because he has nothing, or someone else did it for him.

Apparently on one of his long streams he talked about his work as a security consultant and how he had been interviewed by the NYT about vulnerabilitys within software but I take anything zoom says with a heap of salt.
Back when KOP/exceptional detective was still a thing there was some talk about zoom having some connections to getting him into records he should have access to.
Personally I think it's all exceptional larp.

Zoom has been interviewed by WSJ, Wired, Gawker, and other papers due to his notoriety for the 4chan & Cryptome shit and being the original fake dox of the Lulzsec hacker Kayla.
