Geeee, I am so surprised why people do not want to deal with Sophie/Stephie/Stephie's Mum?! Such a charming lady. Must be transphobia, and not that she almost eagerly waits for someone to word something not 120% to her liking, to screechingly jump into their faces. God forbid that there might be parents of transgender children out there, who have a harder time to accept the fact (Stephie's father - ironically one of the more sympathetic characters) that their child is trans (or an attention whoring raging pain in the ass for their environment.)

I swear every time I hear someone say "transgender children" I want to strangle the parents. It's your kid, not a chance to earn ally points. If you want to transition when you're 18 then go ahead. I personally think it's a mental illness but that's a different topic altogether. But, giving your pre-pubescent kid untested HRT that can damage them for life because you saw them wear a dress one time makes you the scum of the Earth.

I don't want to wade through all the other reposts and what not, but wasn't it just a few months ago where Labelle had an "arc" where Steph was being interviewed about being trans after winning a spelling bee or something, and the whole message of that arc was how messed up it was to ask a kid about being trans? And there was that Stephie is babysitting arc that had a similar message. Now the strawman reporters are bad because they don't want to talk to Stephie about it and are instead interested in talking to her mom?
