I have to reread that sentence a few times to make some sense of it. "Some people decided I don't have what it takes to make comic books for simply existing". I assume she meant "People said girls can't write comics!" or something banal like that but it can be read as "I should have what it takes to make comics for simply existing" which is a questionable premise and would fit with criticisms of her.

A case could be made that writing like that is an example why she shouldn't be writing anything but I'm not going to be that dickish. What I will say is "Get off twitter", she's awful at expressing her thoughts in a blurb.

Don't forget that Ethan Van Soyver made up an imaginary dox threat to scare Nerkish into submission. So her talking him into leaving makes sense if he was already considering walking away due to the worry of his family being doxed.
