I wonder if that was the reaction Nick was hoping for? I mean the way Ty made it sound the contracts are not that big so the stream would be kind of short, maybe I am hoping there is something else going on todays stream.

I imagine, as part of the contract subject, he'll provide some educational discourse and laugh at all the idiots. You can fill a fair about of time with that (we should know). He's got a hard-on for making the blue whale look stupid. It's both fun and easy.

They're trying to get out in front of Nick to control the narrative.
Their quoted text forbids attending another signing...."Section 4.4 stipulates that guests may not cancel in order to attend another autograph event unless contractually obligated by a studio to do so. "

Edit: The article is written stating that KamehaCon is liable for cancelling guest appearances.... It's obviously misleading as the guests cancelled, not the con.

Edit 2: "Section 4.2 provides reasons that are interpreted as outside either the event or the contracted guest's control but does not offer staff management a catch-all to cancel a guest outside of those parameters. The lawyer asked not to be named in this article. " I wonder if it's even a real lawyer.

It is deeply delusional of them to think that when they are already losing before anything has even gone to court that things are going to go any better when it does.

Yeah, I made that mistake too. I think it's a fair mistake for us to make, though, given it was written in light of Monica cancelling the con, not the con cancelling Vic.

At any rate, Ren is sperging out right now about ANN leaking this contract, right? Just like she was earlier today when she thought Nick was going to leak it?

That's what I thought at first, but if you read the last paragraph, it seems what they're saying is that they would be open to litigation if they didn't honor Vic's contract. They specifically mention him being the only one THEY cancelled.

So, it might actually be a rare moment of honesty for ANN, but Lynzee is a horrible writer.

It's clear that they're trying to get out in front of Nick once again, I think it's time for him to stop announcing things so early and keep everything closer to his chest until it's too late for them to do anything. It would be interesting to know how they got that contract or who supplied it to them.

Well it also says the Monica can and will get the shit sued out of her for doing precisely what she is doing. It would appear to be expkicitly spelled out in the contract.

If, for the first time on history, even a little part of what ANN said about the contract is true, there is a really BIG LINE about just this action:

And correct me if i am wrong, but i am 99.99% sure that in no part of their actual contract with any studio does it say that: "You must go and sign pics in Dave Trosko d-tier non-existent con". Ain't this literally breaking that line of the contract, and because of that, 100% confirming they are BREAKING their full contract with Kamehacon?
