To the astronomy club i am a deep sky expert. To the local PhD's i am a peer. The first to met me is a 3rd gen PhD in cosmology. and then the second and third. By the time the first came back. I was a peer. Honorary PhD. Self taught. But it was explaining what i saw and did in 1973 that really impressed her. Because you only know about the chair and lens ( 2 3/4 inch Kelner ) How the controls worked. If you actually sat in the chair and worked them.
