Every time I ask myself, “why does she not just GO HOME and eat it if she’s so self-conscious,” I realize it’s because she cannot physically make it home without eating. The smell of the fast food is just too much and she can’t exercise the patience to wait until she gets home. She has no ability to exhibit delayed gratification. She’s like a toddler.
