Why not? I don't bother anymore (mainly because I don't have as much time these days, and there's less I'm interested in now) but I used to use uTorrent a lot back in the day to download PC games/movies/etc. without issue.

That said, I feel like there is scripture about those that believe in God being protected from those that act against Him and having their false accusations materialize against them. Well, that was a long read. I only have one question to posit, and really it's not even all that pertinent to any recent happenings.

In the dozens and dozens of tweets from the #KickVic side, have any of his former coworkers recounted a single instance in which they pulled him aside to talk to him about their grievances with him? I ask because that seems to be a common trait with these sorts of people. The concept of conflict resolution seems almost foreign to them.

Even then I think the 'Getting help" part only came out after Vic posted his message about getting a lawyer and counselor for help. So I think they were trying to back pedal/change the narrative at first but they eventually went back on the attack.

And all the allegations against him are very vague and second hand accounts but since its 25+ of them they count. Which is ironic because a kickvic person got outed by one person with very specific dates and times but "It was only one person so I believe him" crap.

So not only is she trying to use Kamehacon's name to advertise her new "spite" con but they're not charging for it? So they're basically going to breach contract to not make any money from this at all? Is Kamehacon is okay with them doing all this shit? Kamehacon may not have a choice but to act to shut down her plans. That no compete clause in the contract is not there to simply give them money. It is to protect the value of the Con for all the participating guests and vendors. By setting up her outside signing event within 60 miles she does not simply take money away from the Kamehacon owners, nor act to please “her fans”. She acts to take customers and money away from all the tables at Kamehacon. All the artists and vendors. All the fellow VA’s. Kamehacon May have an obligation to act to protect the value of their Con and their vendors and participants. The expectation of the Guests and vendors is that that clause will be applied equally to all. For the protection of all. Hopefully Kamehacon has enough sense to drop a C&D on it.

She’s not just canceling. Her solution is par for her apparent “it’s all about me” personality. No. An ADR director is a talent who has learned what to do and what to look for in a role.

Experience leads into expertise, even if you're a POS like Sabat. Just because they're spoiled and evil doesn't mean they're incompetent in recognizing talents -- just in utilizing them.

Arguring that its a case of "Those who can't act, instead teach" is like saying Matt Shipman, Brittany Lauda, Justin Cook, Vic, and Crispin Freeman didn't earn their stripes along side anyone else with the title in a big name company or their own dub company.

It CAN be that, but it's not that simple.

ADR Director is essentially the director of the dub. It's actually one of the most important jobs in any dub project, along with the script writer.

ADR simply means Automatic Dialogue Replacement. You are replacing the Japanese dialogue track, to be later mixed in with the original foley.

Bad ADR direction leads to a totally shit dub. See a lot of stuff ADV did.

For exactly this reason, as explained by CM. ADR is crucial with sound mixing and editing of all visual elements of the film source material.

My specialization in VA is scriptwriting: I work with the ADR director and mixer to make sure the dialogue fits the flaps, and edit the flaps to fit the lip movements needed for the dialogue.

English is very heavy with pronunciation and enunciation and the mistakes that it entails as a consequence due to time and length;

Natural dialogue needs to flow like a normie human conversation, but Japanese and English handle this differently due to the grammar rules of English restricting how one writes and says the words.

Fuck up the words, and it doesn't match the lips.
Fuck up the tone of the dialogue, and the text isn't punchy.
Fuck up your vocal delivery and breath control, you do the take again until you get it right.

And so on.

This is why Fandubbers and Abridged productions are so hit-and-miss and long to edit -- KaiserNeko of TFS, Izzy of SomethingWittyEntertainment, and LittleKuriboh of YGO:TAS have to modify whole scenes to fit their edit, cuts, and writing.

Except what would be a team of 20+ people is now on the shoulders of 1-3 people. That's why Izzy is teaching xbubblemunkyx how to do cuts and edits for their SAO Abridged project and for future shows -- the shit takes skill and time and can affect the final product.

TL;DR:
Don't blame the talent, blame the scriptwriters and the director who okay the flaps/scripts (i.e. people like Jamie Marchi who add irrelevant bullshit that pads the scene)
