To my knowledge there is no scripture saying belief in God protects you from having false witness borne against you. It does however reserve the worst retributions laid out against people who do it, and if the false witness is successful God will in time exact punishment upon those who did bring false witness many times over.
Psalm 109 is probably the most powerful of these. It's not scripture but a prayer by the afflicted for Gods intercession and it is very applicable to Vics situation.

The VAs and kickvic have that talent to dig their hole deeper and deeper. Sarah Wiedenheft could've cancelled and kept her mouth shut and apart from a few mocking tweets nothing would've happened. Instead she engages people who are not on her side, makes snarky and two-faced remarks and ensured that her double standards and pedo bro's stuff will be shared all over the social networks. For Vic's Star Trek Continues series, their official facebook page sometimes posts a still from the original series with a paragraph about the episode and asks for fans to comment their favorite part or whatever. Typical fan stuff.
One time when they did this, they included at the bottom of the post a link to their fundraising page. The still image had Kirk in the photo (with others), and somebody went whining to Shatner that STC was fundraising using his image. So the person who runs Shatner's twitter, whether it's him or someone else, gave them some crap about it. Vic quickly apologized and had the picture with Shat taken down.
Then Shat's twitter would sometimes say rude things about Vic and STC and eventually blocked every cast member, including James Doohan's son who was playing his dad's role in STC. Eventually Vic and the person running the twitter came to an understanding and that was the end of it.
Turns out Star Trek fan films are really cut throat. There's a video of Todd Haberkorn, who played Spock in STC, talking about how other fan films even got one of their episodes taken down from youtube until CBS stepped in and helped Vic get it back up. And yes that's Sabat sitting next to Todd.

With GG, once #notyourshield was over, that was pretty much all GG could do. They didn't have the numbers to boycott, they didn't have the clout to get people fired, because they'd already been smeared by the industry they were criticizing.
With weebwars you have a clear goal and outcome. VA's and people in the industry have participated in civil and possibly illegal acts that have strangled another VA out of the industry, and we have evidence that's admissible in a court of law. They can't smear the courts into not taking the case. You can't smear the Lawyer on Twitter so the Judge doesn't listen.

I’ll give her and her brother the same courtesy I give Vic. Or anyone else. I will give them the benefit of the doubt until all facts are in evidence. I have no problem with her defending her brother. He might just be a file sharing moron who unwittingly pulled in CP. I do doubt it, but I will let him have his day in court before calling down the hordes. It’s the rank hypocracy of her simultaneously demanding the innocent until proven guilty standard for her brother, while demanding “Listen and Believe” And mob justice be the standard for someone else. That is completely reprehensible.

That would be the only other reason I could think of. Though he's had @Null on his show multiple times, and for his trouble, Nick was mentioned in at least one New Zealand news article. The Nick and Null connection would certainly be an expected attack vector, but it's interesting they really haven't really touched it.
I just note that the girl who literally came up with the hashtag #KickVic has an account here. That could be "problematic," and why they don't want to make much hay over it.
