Randomizer runs are really cool because the force the player to adapt instead of going off a script that's been optimized to hell.

When things go wrong is basically when you can tell if someone is a speedrunner or a fan of the game they play. The second they slip off a platform and their heart sinks because they're too stupid to just mash a button and get up again.

If you can't do randomizer runs that don't interfere with most major strats, you're just another mimicking tool.

In Greek mythology, the proud Narcissus is so absorbed by his reflection that he refuses to leave it until death. The irony of the narcissist lies in their ultimate sacrifice of self — the sacrifice of their potential to grow in favor for a static, absorptive pleasure. Rather than looking at her reflection against the water, my Narcissa gazes at her portrait until she is paralyzed; transformed into a statue and an eventual ‘art-object’ to be observed. An additional layer of inspiration for this doll was The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde in which the main character Dorian, a libertine narcissist, sacrifices their soul (its corruption depicted in a painting) for everlasting beauty and hedonism.
Narcissa is surrounded by mirrors and narcissus flowers. The dolls’ resemblance is heavily based on the transgender public figure Narcissa Wright, whose favorite color is also lavender purple.

I questioned if the strapped boobs were symbolic. Some of her dolls have strapped boobs, some don't.



Edit: turns out the "bra-breasts" are in fact symbolic

Her bra-breasts represent the performance of femininity and the criteria by which we often judge development and womanhood. Flowergirl reminds us that we exist as we are, and that our growth is defined only by our own personal experience.
