That was actually my first thought too, especially since he had mentioned him and Kat wanting to go on vacation before. When the dates were revealed though, I shifted into the "his parents are giving him money" camp. It's close enough to tax season where he could have begged them for money. It's also close enough to his birthday where he could have guilted them out of money. Either way, I think we can all agree Phil is getting something out of the trip and isn't going out of concern for his perfectly healthy parents he might never see again because they are on death's door.

Has Kat expressed any interest or fandom at all for Disney, though? Is that deep lore? As far as I knew all the cracks made about going to Disneyland/world were when Leanna was still around and that was because she actually said she wanted to go. I always chalked any plans he supposedly had to take the soulmaid there to the fact that his relationship with her is following an identical trajectory as his last one.

This would also explain why he’s being so exceptional about the time he’s deciding to leave for the trip. One would think that with how long he was bitching about losing a week to “choking” with the common cold at Christmas that he wouldn’t take a week off during the “most important streaming month” of his life. Why couldn’t he just put off until right after the taxes or gasp the summer. It’s not like travel expenses would be that much more and he’d lose less all importantant “interactivity” ($$$$).

I honestly don't think DSP would take a great opportunity for stability if he was offered it and Im sure his parents know that. Imagine, if you will, DSP arrives and does disney/wrestlemania/et cetera and whatever. As his visit comes to an end he goes to dinner with a his parents and family friend, and lets pretend that the family friend wants to hire dsp as a social media manager or even just a warehouse supervisory position. The point being: a well paid job but one that comes with the implicit dismantling of the DSP brand in favor of stability. Would Phil take it? Do you think Phil's parents would even recommend Phil to a friend given his obvious (lack of) work ethic?

Yeah Phil would not get a job even if his parents set him up with a good one,he has been fired or has quit every job he ever had because he is lazy and incompetent.Remember when he was single and said that he had a busy schedule because he had to cook? You look at other streamers, they still go out, interact with people, even if it's autistic, they still socially interact. What does he do? Nothing. Wouldn't recommend this, just for the record. But it wouldn't be too difficult would it? All you'd really need is the day and airport and if you're autistic enough I doubt time is a problem. I'd imagine he's departing from the closest airport both times. So I imagine if you found where that was and was really determined to find him it'd be simple.

Again, don't do this. But considering he's scared of people finding him he's doing a poor job hiding where he's going, when he's going and how long he'll be gone for. I just hope he's got someone keeping an eye on the house, broadcasting an empty property isn't a good idea at the best of times, never mind someone with a reputation like Dark doing so.
