I am absolutely riveted. This is my first time riding a Chantal cycle and I am living for it. WOW.
The audacity. The shamelessness. The horror show! I finally sat down to watch the now deleted rant and the hypocrisy is beyond.
With her tween perspective on life, her tendency to embellish, her “all or nothing” attitude and her volatile reaction to anything she perceives as critical - she feels very borderline to me. The binging/restriction of food is also borderline. I would even go as far as saying overeating is her form of self-harm, literally gorging herself to numb herself away. She has zero sense of self with no job, no relationship, no friends which is why she is constantly shifting from one lifestyle to another... She's also mentioned being super upset when her sister was born because she no longer got the attention she wanted from her mother - she was 11 at the time and if IIRC, that's when she moved to a group home or soon after. As soon as I heard her say that, combined with all of her other behaviors - BPD totally made sense to me.
Chantal's own words about people who hate her videos:
“At the end of the day, it’s a thing now so get over it”.
Well, the same can be said about people reacting to your bull shit: It’s a thing now, so....get over it. OH and Happy fucking birthday. ?
