Eh, yes and no. For Prison School, she was the lead writer, but it was Tyson Rhinehart who actually wrote the line. Jamie still would have had to approve it, though.

Industries need to do more "Behind the Glass/How Its Made" displays in general.

You can't pique interest in something you didn't know you were interested in. Goes back to the general consensus of why oldfags exist.

In short? No.

Vic cancelled a few Cons.

Two in 2014, 3 in 2015 and 3 in 2016. It says specifically "Cancelled" not that the cons withdrew their invitations as seen in 2019's listing.

Most of which seem to have been double books, or so close together he'd have been at cons for a week straight, or a better offer came up (one in 2014 was either Chesapeak, VA or Sydney, New South Wales in Oz. Vic went to Australia) or where he wound up in places like New York's Comic Con instead of Columbia, South Carolina.

It's a little shocking how many cons he does per year, and this year is the first year so many cons have withdrawn their invitations.

The Prison School one is kinda borderline because Tyson Reinhardt took credit for it and completely lost his shit when there was backlash. He's now "Kill Nazis" on Twitter. I suspect part of the reason he lost his shit is because it was too much for even Funi and they removed it for the physical release. We call that an L.

That said, just because she's not lead writer on everything doesn't mean she's not planting a bug in the writer's ear. It does seem true that this ends up happening in shit she's involved in as a VA.

I so hope you are right. I know Kate Leth was shrieking about Patreon changes last week, claiming it was her main monthly income. CR got hit with a massive backlash, and cancellation wave over that horrible High Guardian Spice trailer crowing about their diverse team of look alike pink haired misandrist lesbians.

A big reason why the "trailer" got so much backlash is because it wasn't even a fucking trailer. It was fat dangerhairs discussing how woke they are, and how woke the show is gonna be.

Even people who aren't into the culture wars were scratching their heads at this one.

I don't know about cons. but Vic's STC buddies have seemed to either stand by him or stay quiet (with the exception of his bitter ex). The series is wrapped and they wouldn't lose any work by turning on him. It's highly suspicious it's almost ONLY Texas anime people going after him, people who he wouldn't even be in a recording booth with. But the women he worked with on actual sets? Silence or direct support.
