Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Such a true perspective, though. KickVic chose the battleground, and while Ty and ALOD can clean up behind the scenes, it's social media that will determine whether Vic is still at cons a year from now or is persona non grata.

You're actually low. The Kamehacon announcement for Vic's return is 8.9k. Vic's personal tweet that he's returning is 19k.

Rial's cancellation tweet is 7.7k. Daman Mills is 3k. Wiedenheft's is 1.9k. Josh Grelle is 2.8k. Jason Douglas is 1.8k.

Combine all the cancellation likes from 5 people and Vic still has more likes. :story:

Were the likes on the VA’s cancellation tweets supporting them? Or simply liking the fact that they were gone?

And moves from place to place as an Upset Aggregation.

Which hobby will she invade next, I wonder.

I've been hunting this whale personally for so long, I'd imagine she'll attempt to go to the one place she hasn't stunk up yet: Youtube.

I’m thinking Knitting seems due for a Renfamous invasion. Apparently they have a “racism” problem or somesuch? Klickbait tells us so, so it must be true!

That's actually very good question. I'd lean more towards them being in support of the VAs for cancelling, though. If anyone's been on twitter they have to realize it's now Vic versus the world. They like bad things about Vic, and they don't like things that are positive for Vic.

And not a single person was surprised.

Like, seriusly. Emoshi as far as I know is just a Fidel Castro lookalike. He's not a lawyer (which means some skill in persuasive speaking, plus knowledge of the law), he's just a dude. This was as close as a fair match as Shane would have gotten.

Nah, the guy could add 1+1 and get 2, Shane was outclassed.

She'll be facing off against our boy Memology 101 and alot others there. She's a twitter troll and she's tripped and fell on her own sword at her own home. She got rekted beyond believe on that and SJW's worth their rotten salt are gonna be scared.

And Shane wants a Round 2 with Nick when he can't even gather the balls to have a Round 1 with someone else.
He only wanted a "round two" so he could lie about KamehaCon being bullied into bringing Vic back before Nick could speak about KamehaCon bringing him back and the claims of bullying from the other VAs
I doubt he wants that round two anymore, he just wanted it abruptly out of nowhere so he could try and steer the narrative with misinformation before the bombshell went off
I think Nick even mentioned this in the stream when he outed all the bully VAs

Anybody worth anything would tell you screw Roddenberry. I read a couple years ago there was some other writer really helped make Star Trek. Cant seem to find it now so take that with a grain of salt but it's definitely known that when they did TNG they basically had to tard wrangle him to keep him from ruining the show.

It's a bit more complicated than that.

STNG's first season was super hit or miss, while the second season was crippled by a writer's strike and more to the point, Patrick Stewart REALLY didn't like being forced to play a neutered stern but lovable type dad figure. He wanted Picard to be more Kirk-like (which Roddenberry was against) and while the writers were trying to keep him and Roddenberry happy, a major university in California found out that Stewart was upset and basically started courting him to leave the show and take over their theater department (with big salary and control over the department, it's productions, and classes etc). Stewart let the producers know this, around the time season three was beginning pre-production that he was going to walk after that season (as he was signed to a short term deal for three seasons). So everyone basically rallied to make season three a huge improvement from seasons one and two, in order to get Stewart to stay.

And even then, he didn't re-sign until the very last minute. Hence why Best of Both Worlds was written with a cliffhanger where Riker giving the order to blow up the Borg Cube with Picard on it and the introduction of Lt Commander Shelby. Had Stewart not resigned, Best of Both Worlds Part 2 (the season four opener) would have opened with the Borg destroyed (along with Picard) and the rest of the episode having everyone mourn Picard's death and setting up Riker as the new Captain of the Enterprise and Shelby as the new second in command.

TUG read a degenerate's fetlife account where the dude apparently owns a cage in his living room for his sex shit and other weird stuff and claimed that it's the lead guy/owner of axanar's fetlife
Idk how dependable TUG is but if it's true than its just another in the list of sex pests trying to gain good boy points from listening and beliving

Have you consider that they listen and believe because they could totally see themselves doing that kind of shit so it makes perfect sense to them that someone else might do it too?

I always just assume these ultra-woke dudes actually have done that evil shit and are desperate that they not ever get metooed themselves so they eagerly fuck over an actual man with false accusations.
