Isn't the point of having a self-defense weapon that you have it close by you in a hidden location so you can get to it quickly and there isn't a chance an attacker gets to it before you? Why is his self-defense axe in the middle of the hallway? This is absurd. He really doesn't have any common sense. "DOOD THE DETRACTOR IS ATTACKING ME WITH MY OWN WEAPON, FUCK THIS BULLSHIT. NOTHING I COULD DO... KAT, WHY ARE YOU RUNNING AWAY? COME ON, WE'RE SOULMATES."

Press F for the troll.

I hadn't noticed before how lazily and pathetic the entryway of his house was actually laid out. The front door, a closet door that opens the wrong way, a third door, a fourth door, ALL IN A ROW, and then a fifth door to the laundry room. That hallway is laid out like a prison. Not to mention every door being different lengths with wildly varying gaps at the floor.

A bit late but please tell me that isn't his front door. Please tell me he doesn't leave a weapon just sitting by his front door. Please tell me I'm wrong and he's not this incompetent. I'm hoping the axe was just there for him to show it off and not helpfully laid out to give a home invader a choice of weaponry.

I think it is. This is the first floor of the condo, and the stairs on the left go up to the second floor.

I don't get the weapon placement either. Frankly, it'd make more sense if a tool was in his office since he's there most of the day. Additionally, I don't get his paranoia on this. Phil is an awful mark for robbery, he's always in his house and is up late into the night every day. He's always there in his gated community. Unless someone specifically sought him out to hurt him he's the worst option imaginable for simple theft. Assuming you don't follow him online you'd have to stake him out for weeks in a place that is somewhat inconvenient to enter because of the gates to narrow down the couple of hours a week he's out shopping and waited until then to steal common electronics and other items you could lift from other houses whose owners are out more and on a more consistent basis. You'd just be wasting your time when easier marks surely exist.

Scene: Robbers come in while Phil is trying to activate his alarm system

Phil: Aw, come on man, I"M PUSHING BUTTONS!

Or maybe he is a good mark since he let the entire internet know exactly what days he would be away from home and across the country.

Well, at least he doesn't do something stupid like going on multiple angrily shouted rants about how on his days off, between the hours of 10 am and 8 pm, he and his roommate leave the condo together and are gone the whole time. . .and then publicly post on Twitter every time he is having a 'day off'.

On his “business only” Twitter no less...

Just 2 of Phil's regular cheerer and fanboys having an intelligent conversation on how to help Phil making money of STOOPID DETRACTORs, okay?

Phil thinks all detractors are trying to ruin his life. If anyone views anti-dsp videos such as TIHYDP, Snort Burnell, Tevin, or even Down the Rabbit Hole, they are guilty of trying to murder him. They aren't just poking fun at him, they want him dead. They swatted him, his parents, and his ex-roommate's brother's wedding. They have cost him hundreds of millions of dollars in lost sponsorships and ad revenue. Phil would be the #4 streamer in the world and #1 in North America if not for those assholes making up lies and destroying everything he worked his ass off to build.

So which of the "good" detractors should he have on this new show?

He honestly believes people are going to seek him out. That's one of the reasons he lives in a gated community to begin with.

The only reason it actually works, is because anyone who lives close to him is too lazy to put in the effort. A wall and gate isn't much to deter a determined detractor; and if there really were people who, as he puts it "wants him dead," that gate isn't going to do much to stop them.

He's been really trying to tempt that DSP attempted assassination arc.
Seeing as its DSP, i have no doubt in my mind that at some point, some complete sped will just have enough, and try to get him.
Maybe Fred Fuchs is already going over Plan G
