I did look, but only found 1 pic looking back at the house from roughly 10m and I'm wondering because of how fucked his property boundaries now look. In the video when he is cutting down the big tree it looks to be full of green shrubbery giving lots of privacy and defines his property lines. I'm sure some of it is due to the season and new growth will occur, but in the photos that area looks devastated.

Yep, he's exactly that kind of idiot. Anyone who owns property knows that if you are going to make changes on the periphery of that property you need to have a proper survey. Not only that, but you'd want to have the utilities mapped so you don't electrocute yourself or cause an issue with the neighborhood water lines. Also, any adult who's dealt with an HOA knows you need to check in with them whenever you make changes to your property full stop. He knew he was in an HOA, or at least he should have because he'd need to pay dues.
