Skynet took Bruce and Brandon from us because of a clerical error? rages
Don't forget poor Sir Christopher

Why are they living like sardines in Texas? I understand the starving artist story in LA or New York, but they're not even in Austin, Dallas or Houston.
Flower Mound is where Funimation is, so that could be it.

Probably not related, but I came across this. JYB and Vic are both LA based and have worked together. Could be idle speculation from some chat message, could be not. Not like there's a lot of Vic stuff to talk about.

Johnny Young Bosch has a reputation of being something of a two-faced jerk.

Bosch was in Power Rangers and once he started getting work as an anime dub VA, would shit talk Power Rangers and his time on the show in order to fit in with the cool anime kids at conventions that looked down upon Power Rangers. Then, once Power Rangers saw an upswing in terms of renewed interest, and developed it's own convention and it's online fandom grew to the point that actors started interacting with it on a regular basis, Bosch started shit talking the anime industry and his coworkers there to Power Ranger fans, as far as throwing the anime industry under the bus so he could make money off of Power Ranger fans that might not have heard him shit talk them.

So in their advertisement for Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Funimation said the blu-ray would include "45 minutes of bonus footage". Not bonus footage of the movie mind you, like what Battle of Gods got, but just shit extras Funimation themselves filmed. People were unsurprisingly pretty pissed off at Funimation for misleading them. In response, Funimation turned off the comment section for the blu-ray trailer. People are rightfully dragging Funimation for both of these actions. And could you guess who is stoking the fire as well?

Good on them.

The OP of that thread made a followup thread (he deleted the first one.)

TLDR The chat message the poster saw was referencing how JYB is LA based and Funi tends not to work with LA talent if they can help it.

You have a source on that? Cause I remember when Bandai was advertising the Haruhi anime, they produced a series of videos from 2006 to 2007 (before the first Power Morphicon would even happen) called the "The Adventures of ASOS Brigade." They would go over the production of the anime and in particular its English dub.

Johnny Young Bosch was interviewed by fellow voice actor and Power Rangers alumni Patricia Ja Lee, and she notes, "You know, you look kinda familiar to me, I can't exactly place it."

No offense but I have a hard time believing you story.

Why the fuck does Daman Mills feel like he's a escapee from a MTV cast, or a Twilight self-insert?

Basic rejected Helix Studios model and all around twink cumdump.

Can we add Sarah and Daman Mills to the cast list?

In regards to JYB, apparently hes kind of a diva. He tries so hard to promote his edgy band that he's in or something? I get douche vibes and that's not even scratching the surface of his Power Rangers days.

(I should add that the nicest actors from my experience are Lani Minella, Bridget Hoffman, Kirby Morrow, Scott McNeil, Jim Cummings, John DiMaggio, and Kari Wahlgren. I message Lani sometimes and she told me about how pointless the strike was, what ficore means, and how anime pays very little. Also fun fact: Ryan Drummond is a dick.)

You'd have to add Josh Grelle and Jason Douglas then, since like Daman and Sarah they're walking out on Kamehacon. Otherwise they're not that heavily involved.

Actually, I think Josh and Daman have made actual tweets against Vic, whereas Sarah was limited to likes, retweets, and generic #believe posts.

This is missing Amber Lee Connors.

Josh agreed with Jamie Marchi's post about burning in hell.

Probably because they're a bunch of man and womanbabbies who can't deal with the real world so need to have a bubble of clone-minded NPCs around them lest they get completely triggered by having to deal with a normie.

The thing with Ren is that she was full-on suspended once before (and not the 12 hour time out). It would be really impressive if she manages to come back from the dead twice. One would certainly think they are less forgiving if you have a pattern of this crap. If her appeal is denied, and she starts posting on her alts, people are gonna jump all over that.

Ding ding ding ding! Twitter is fucked if she comes back. If they allow her back, they might as well wrap a dildo in barb wire and insert it themselves. It would absolutely prove that all of the issues we've been going over are nuanced and there is no way word rules that could apply 100% of the time. It would validate every single accusation that a bias exists and can be exploited. If she is allowed back, why not anyone/everyone else who could halfway coherently state they'd been railroaded, taken out of context, or misunderstood (usually by Ree's own doing!). Ren is the figurative cop who beat Rodney King on Twitter.

Emoshi revealed in a DM to someone that he talked about private HR investigations in public. Could that be a legally actionable offense?

I'm calling bullshit on this, someone is trying to cash in on their 15 minutes of fame and score some points while they're at it.

14.4k modems? We had 1200 and were happy. Thank dog no acoustic coupler at that point.

Don't get me started, I really did use an old 300 baud coupler with an Atari 800. Yes, I legit saved and loaded on a cassette drive.

Do people not listen to me when I tell them things?
Feels like people miss, forget, memoryhole, or are skipping whole pages at a time.
Kinda annoying, tbh.

I hear where you're coming from. I've brought up stuff that gets ignored, then someone else says it 2-3 days later and it's discussed. It is what it is.
While we do have reactions and scoring here, that's not what we're about. The cows are laughed at in their due time, even if it's a day or two later than it could have happened. For what it's worth, I read literally every single word of the thread before joining the farms and participating because, to me, anything less would make me a cow too and a valid target to laugh at if/when I asked about something that was already covered. When someone proposes something that's already brought up, I mentally put udders on their avatar, have my chuckle, and get back to "work".

Let me take a moment to say this is arguably one the best threads on this forum. Maybe not in content wise no but the fact that everyone here is doing nothing but cracking jokes, archiving and not launching any gay ops. Truly the pentacle of Kiwi Farming.

God Speed you fucking shit posters, God speed.

I haven’t looked at this thread for a long-ass time ‘cause trying to keep up with everything was growing tiresome. So, has anything of substance happened? How close are we to the lawsuit? In what ways have #KickVic made complete fools of themselves since, let’s say, page 400?

  • Anime Outsiders was on Rekieta's stream and aired out the dirty laundry of ANN (especially about Zac Bertschy's case) and pretty much state Chris Sabat is like a Mafia Don strong-arming VAs like John Swassey.
  • Nick Rekieta was banned from Twitter for a short period of time because someone reported a tweet of his from 2017.
  • More insanity from Amanda Winn Lee.
  • HawaiiCon announced they are going to have Vic as a guest. Of course, #kickvic wants to boycott it. Thanks to Super Girl's not-so-covert ops, she exposed Leah Rose and Kelly Onelani as contributors to the i09 article.
  • We discovered Anime News Network is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. Possibly in CEO Chris MacDonald's apartment that is in close proximity to Université de Montréal, where MacDonald attended 19 years ago.
  • Rekieta teased that there is someone at Sabat's level (NOT Sabat himself) of power and clout actively making moves to remove Vic from conventions, which might call for Tortious Interference of Contract.
  • Reuben Langdon, voice actor for Devil May Cry's Dante, appeared in a stream with Toy Bounty Hunter and stated "I have a hard time believing Vic would go further than a hug in any of these cases." As such, #kickvic turned their attention to Langdon. Langdon, who survived being shot at in Guatemala, remained unfazed. Later, Anime Matsuri announced Langdon joined the list of guests.
  • KamehaCon reinvited Vic, causing #kickvic VAs to meltdown and rage quit KameCon. Renfamous, unfortunately, joined the fray.
  • A summary of more recent events can be found on page 1.
  • Renfamous got temporarily suspended for, ironically, misgendering someone.
  • Shane Holmberg chickened out of a debate with YouTuber Emoshi.

Check the OP it's updated fairly often. Off the top of my head:
  • KamehaCon re-invited Vic
  • KC become a battleground
  • 5 funi VAs from Super got assblasted and left
  • these VAs are easily replaceable
  • the 5 were replaced
  • Monica Rial says she'll start her own con with UNO and soyboys
  • Those 5 are breaking their contracts and can be sued for it
  • Monica is double breaking her contract because of a non-compete clause
  • Whalefamous REEE'd and got suspended for hateful conduct
  • PULL was apparently honeypot-ing Shane
  • Shane wanted a second round of hot Cosby from Nick
  • Nick denied the offer, so Shane went to Nick's most boring guest (young Castro's body double) for a debate
  • Shane backs out, showing what a giant pussy he is
  • Monica apparently pushed for Todd Habercorn to be left out of a panel in a recent con
  • Depending on Todd's contract, this would be another TI on Monica's part
  • Sarah's (one of the VAs that backed out of KC) brother is arrested on CP charges
  • all signs point to him being very guilty, but she spouts "innocent until proven guilty"
This is mostly out of order and definitely missing some stuff.

Oh I forgot. Three more amazingly nice VA's are Nicole Karrer (Tear Grants, F!Morgan in Fire Emblem), Carrie Savage, and Jessica Straus.
