How long until Google translate can take the original audio and just dub it in the target language?

I'm willing to bet that we have a while to wait. Ffs, Google still struggles with youtube algorithms. Besides, Google Translate doesn't always get translations right.

But there's another reason we'll likely be waiting for a while.

Japanese can be difficult for GT to get right due to sentence structure being quite different from English. Japenese sentences follow a "subject-object-verb" structure, while English follows a "subject-verb-object" structure.

For example, in English, we'd word a sentence like "Asuka drinks some coffee". See, subject (Asuka) verb (drinks) object (some coffee).

In Japanese, however, the sentence would read as "Asuka some coffee drinks." Because of this, we'd still need an actual person to come in and restructure sentences for English viewers.

Another key reason this wouldn't work would be pronunciation. This is VERY important in Japanese. Going with the Evangelion theme, many people used to pronounce Asuka's name as "Ah-su-ka" . Thing is, that u is meant to be silent, with the correct pronunciation being "Ah-ska"

So yeah, when people say that Social Justice forces people to treat women like exceptional children, they're not kidding.

Drexxel being full on MRA is really interesting. Intersectionality makes him immune to 90% of dangerhairs, so...

Modern Feminism in essence, is about keeping the rights Women already have, but having no personal responsibility morally or legally for their actions. So like being a child, but at the same time being an adult. It kind of makes sense when you think about the Feminists that have converted to Islam. It's like they've decided, "no I am a child, giving us rights was a mistake."

Justin Sevakis is the original founder of Anime News Network, although he does not currently run it, and just does some stupid Q&A column. Earlier this year, he found himself on a list of "abusers" in the anime industry, with some chick claiming he was stalking her. He denied this, and a bunch of other ANN people came out and defended him.

But less than a month later, Justin comes out with this:

Imagine going through 6 years of some crazy bitch spreading lies about you to everyone she could, but being such an asshole you refuse to even consider someone else may find themselves in a similar situation. Imagine being such an asshole that you come out and imply you have information about sexual abusers in the industry, but you won't come out and say anything about them, and then blame FANS for it. Imagine being such a little fucking bitch.
Or maybe he's not a rancid cunt, he's just really stupid? I mean...

Btw Justin, does your dad ever feel bad about abandoning Suzanne? That would fuck me up.

You're probably my favorite person in this thread right now. Keep up the great work!

Reactions: Burnout
Just noticed a few minutes ago that Mr. Beard already has a patch with the slogans "fear the beard" and "we will be in touch".
"We will be in touch" is the kind of thing that I would expect to see on one of those darkly humorous NORAD missile command patches. The kind of guys who already have a patch that says "death wears bunny slippers".

it kinda sucks that we don't get much ty beard and doug boxed him out of the conversations almost completely
I got my interactions between TY and dick I always wanted so I would say its still worth it
Doug's okay, just surprised he went into maddox for a bit, thought he was trying to still his friend or some shit?

It's nice they're being professional about it, but even with some of them being minors, I honestly disagree with their decision to not file charges. Burglary is a crime, plain and simple, and apparently it sounds like that's some really expensive equipment (and some of it's still missing) on top of the vandalism that was reported. They could apologize, but unless they're legit 'tards, they should pay for it, if not with money then either with community service as issued by a judge or some jail time. By being lenient and not taking measures to show you're serious, you'e opening yourself up to future criminal activity (and by minors, no doubt) who will "say" they're sincerely apologetic when around their parents, but they're only sorry they got caught. They won't learn anything by being given a slap on the wrist and a wag of the finger.

"Lapse of judgment" is just another safeword for "they won't take responsibility for their actions because we're babying them".

This.
I can't speak for anyone else, but there being true tangible consequences for my actions taught me a lot. There'd by cries of abuse if it happened today, but I can tell you that it's embarrassing being in middle school, showering after class, and everyone seeing welts on my ass from where I'd been belted the night before. It didn't mean I never did things that earned beltings again, but it did force me to decide if it was worth it if I got caught.
