I love how at the time of his break he only has 80 something emblems left and he's barely been using them throughout the game...whereas i use them all the time and are futher than him and i have over 400 of the bloody things.

Also love how holding circle and running away is now considered a puzzle..

I like how he told someone in chat you can parry the unblock-able attack...

Let that sentence sink in...

I mean if you want to be super pedantic he is right, you can parry thusts which are unblockable...its just the attack he's talking about is a sweep...

I think he had about 320 in storage when he started. He's just been "wasting" them all on firecrackers which don't work, dood!

He also STILL does not understand the posture mechanic. Numerous time during Guardian Ape he's complained about his blahking not working, when his posture gauge is full.

Swagginz has been on the warpath today, is this the start of a new redemption arc?
Nah Fagginz is just desperate for Dark's attention. That's all.

He's just deeply confused about the entire rules of unblockables. He seems to think that it's a static, set game like R/P/S where each type (thrust, parry, throw) has the exact same solution regardless of the enemy / animation. He was confused that the Guardian Ape's air throw "caught him" because he "jumped." He jumped directly into the ape's arms and actually thought he should have evaded the throw. That's phenomenal, even for Phil.

Regarding parrying unblockables...he read that about thrusts and also must have thought it implictly applied to sweeps as well. Cute.

His guide must not have covered this.

Something tells me running around the map for 20 minutes waiting for one specific move over and over is not how they intended the boss to be beat.

I mean its kinda how i beat him, i just played safe becasue i absolutely suck at parrying and while i did get a bit steamed during some attempts it was nothing like phil.

I'm honest-to-god shocked that no one has told him to cheese with the Firecracker. It's the ultimate cheese tool. I would say it's about as equally busted as Lightning Spears pre-nerf in Dark Souls 2.

See what I don't get with Phil is hes so defensive about how he didn't read a guide during his break, when it was very obvious. Yet openly talks out loud about what his chat is saying to guide him around.

It's less about him being defensive and more about greed, cause why the fuck would anyone bother giving him money to tell him how to play if they knew he had a guide right next to him?

This depresses me. His chat is just terrible all year round.
