Dante, I'm going to give you a penny's worth of free advice. It's only a penny because I don't agree with the guy on a lot of things (especially since he went full SJW during #GamerGate). But his practical advice has helped me a lot. So go to drnerdlove.com. Read his sections on the basics pertaining to dressing well, skin care and places to meet new people. Otherwise, you can ignore his rants on male privilege at your leisure. But that alone helped me out a lot when I got here.

Oh yeah, I still have plans for going to a brothel if I'm 39 and still haven't done it. But it might be unnecessary soon. Besides, aside from that bottle of rum I brought from my vacation back home and getting a room for ensuing activities, I'll be having sex for free.

Believe it or not, Martin is kind of a mangina.

He did translate a patriarchal word correctly but women like Aria or Brianne are completely ahistorical. I know it's not history but... A 13 year-old or what going around killing people with her blade? Hard to believe. As well as a huge female warrior.
He is correct about women often being behind the scenes, but always dependent on men. Btw, thanks for this question, will use parts of this for my blogpost.
