Sekiro: Return to Dark Souls rage quit or unexpected surprise?

See what I don't get with Phil is hes so defensive about how he didn't read a guide during his break, when it was very obvious. Yet openly talks out loud about what his chat is saying to guide him around.

That's just "interaction", dumbass. If somebody pays him money to tell him what to do, that's just talking and stuff and like pal-ing around on the couch!

This depresses me. His chat is just terrible all year round.

I'm pretty sure this was sarcastic, because Lamb was outright asking some people if they thought Phil was using/used a guide himself and throwing out some Kappa faces.

I think that was a wings joke peepul were still talking about guise after it some dood let him know about Dave totally not using a guide on the Ape guardian guy.

Won't lie, I'm quite glad to be wrong. The idea of even non-subs asking for words to be banned legit depresses me.

those lean in bans, why is he announcing his lean in bans now?
He is announcing them because people point out the lean ins and when he does do bans he wants to get the jump on the "meme".

He something during one of his Sekiro streams this week. He was leaning in because he was looking something up I think it was how long someone was following him on twitch and everyone thought he banned the guy. Then he said something, akin to "oh I know it's a meme when I lean in and all".

I think that he is aware that Tevin and other restreamers mention who got banned and why, so now he is just jumping on it to get ahead of them. Also I think this DSP's way of getting to 100,000 followers and he knows people are going to come back under alt accounts anyway.

Seattle air strats for Sekiro

Nah he must be huffing some Mt Fuji air in a can to get in touch with his inner ninja turtle.. eventhough he seems to have some racial issues with the asians. I think it's all the beatings they gave him in Street Fighter it gave him one of his many complexes.

Someone either told him about the Firecracker cheese method or he looked it up. Even with that he's still pretty terrible. I manage to beat the Ape without using it. Took me about an hour. The 2nd time you fight the Ape is even harder.

Edit: 6 minutes in and this is the first time he's fought the Ape's 2nd form and he just happens to know to hold block when up close and deflect as it does that giant sword swing? He obviously looked up the fight.

The most obvious is when he moves towards the body at 4:32 in that video after the first "phase" and the fake-as-fuck reaction "oh no" before immediately attacking with no delay from what will take most people a few seconds to parse.

Why does he even bother acting? The fact that he denies it and bans people after the fact for saying he read or watched a guide is just pathetic.

Shame he 'somehow' got the mortal blade first so he won't have to do the second Ape fight.

Honestly this whole boss slog was the single best Phil moment in years, gameplay wise.

Just an absolute clusterfuck with chat mocking his inability to understand simple mechanics.

This just in: Man wonders why his channel isn't growing after perma-banning five people for asking if he used a guide. So he has no problem save scumming with save states? He has no problem with chat holding his hand? He has no problem with cheesing? But he has a problem with people wondering if he used a guide during a long break where he came back and beat the boss with a completely different tactic then he was using before?

He still will. It doesn't use the Mortal Blade on the kill; it's a standard "Shinobi Execution," not an "Immortal Severance."

Agreed. I love the way he puts in extra work at misdirection by incorrectly guessing fight mechanics ("I think I'll have to use these trees to swing up on him and maybe attack his shoulders?") but then forgets to act surprised or elated when his pre-equipped firecrackers stun the beast on the first throw.

The more Phil skips honing his skills on the core mechanics, the more of a wall the final bosses will be. They're cumulative exams, and he's skipped class every fucking day.
IF he makes it to the final boss, he's going to be fucking infuriated.

Because Phil has already beaten the area he won't need to pass through the boss zone. Unless I'm remembering the route wrong.

Him failing at fighting games and Souls is him at his most unintentionally entertaining.
Overwatch salt was also great. Everyone has aimbot on, Roadhog's chain is bullshit.

Sekiro and his is great as well. You can tell he looks up guides, then either puts it on, or genuinely gets his shit pushed in and hates it. Has also lead to the lean in ban coming to the forefront of his streams he gets really pissy when people suggest that he was looking at guides.

And the funny thing is that there's nothing wrong with looking up a guide. Sekiro is probably the hardest of the Souls-style games and even I had to look some shit up and I played the shit out of the Dark Souls trilogy. But his ego gets in the way and he can't just admit that he looked at a guide.

That is why his chat was calling him out after his break yesterday when the Ape was shitting on him literally then he took his break came back and won the fight first try he didn't even sandbag it. He got some backlash from his chat and clocked out at 3:30pm to allegedly make a dinner of some kind of burgers.

phil would be in a better spot today if he didn't have an ego
if he would have thicker skin
if he wouldn't lean in to ban for the most minor of disagreements
if he could joke around with people
if he would stop autofellating himself over his "gamin skills" and shit
if he would stop with the pathetic lies about his life

i would say 90% of his stress and problems would never exist if he could think of other people for once in his life

Agree, I looked up some tips to help with timing, and also with the folding screen monkeys because I was being an autist and couldn't find the invisible monkey trailing me because I spent my time on the roofs. If he just said "yeah, I'm looking it up, I need help and would like to keep the playthrough efficient and not boring because of constant deaths"...he'd still take shit for it, but he wouldn't look like an asshole even bigger asshole for doing his lean in bans.

I think he does this elite gamer shit where he acts like he ends up on top for his youtube audience. Where he can simply just not record his tangents to show he's not a huge fucking dickhead and they cannot see the stream chat during his playthrough where they are simply making fun of him and calling him out.

But at the same time he is sitting there leaning over his chat and asking for help in a not so subtle way "I don't know what to do?" "What item was that!?". Won't even bother to thank the person for tips because again, he doesn't want his youtube audience, who he most likely thinks aren't the same people that watch his streams, to see that he's a huge fraud.

Big time. Especially for twitch.

Yesterday I got a chance to catch Darkdave's stream when Phil encountered the guardian ape. Of course his whole chat was dogging him after he returned from his break and beat the ape.

I was able to watch Phil meticulously ban any name that did not have a crown or bit amount attached to it. Those people get at least 10 strikes until they're out.

He loves to tell people that they're going to be shown the door if they keep "insulting him", otherwise if they haven't contributed anything he'll make them at least contribute another sock account to his 70k followers lol.

The whole stream is suppose to be an echo chamber of whatever he likes until his chat overall goes against him.

"Uhhh I guess you guys like watching me DIE a lot in Sekiro... ok then". If it wasn't for his totals being great after every Sekiro stream the game would've been done at the butterfly lady.

He should just stick to being a full time call of duty streamer. He's been a kid at a candy shop with all of the new, clueless players downloading MW Remastered that he gets to stomp. I can't wait for how barebones black ops 4 will change his sentiment quickly.
