I'm still sitting on the hypothesis that the entire setup for this chaotic ousting of Mignogna was him forgetting to turn his swag off while being the only alpha for miles and also perhaps not being judicious in the advances he made. Put more simply: his weiner got him in trouble.
I mean, to be sure, he's fairly aged, but he's still rather attractive despite that.
I'm a bit anxious about making jokes like these because a part of me is still waiting for actual court proceedings to discern the truth of the matter, but it's been nearly four months and not a single person has put up a single piece of evidence for Vic's alleged actions, while Vic has not only lawyered up, but is confirmed to be taking people to court.
Marchi claims simple battery and that the statute of limitations ran out by the time she even thought to go to the police, but (in public) never talked about that effort or how it was "too late", and doesn't even put up/discuss the actionable evidence for her claim even if she couldn't press charges.
I don't even know what Rial is trying to claim-- she says that Vic did the hairpulling routine in front of other people in the workplace but there's no A/V evidence from either said witnesses nor CC videotapes that she's even alluded to, and she also recounts an incident of Vic... doing something to her. In her account, she doesn't call it rape or assault, but maligns the event by saying that she froze up then because she had been raped as a teenager. Elsewhere (in DMs and/or in other tweets) she just says it was "inappropriate". People don't usually call rape just "inappropriate".
And we don't even know about those 25+ other people-- do they even exist? Rial said that she took to Twitter because she saw her friends and their loved ones being attacked, but now that I think about it, I don't even know who she could be referring to outside of Marchi because either nobody outside of her and Marchi (and that "Michelle" character who we definitely couldn't get anything on this late in the game and was only able to demonstrate that she was maybe in the same town as Vic at some point in time) came out or she's pulling some shadow puppetry.
I mean, think about this: Weinstein was nailed because we had at least one audio recording of him soliciting an aspiring actress or somesuch to watch him shower, and he's already had to do multiple payouts for sexual harassment in the past. We were able to nail Cosby because he made a sworn statement that he did indeed give women Quaaludes. Closer to "home", we had video evidence of Momokun's sexual harassment. And somehow, in over a decade of con appearances as a prolific VA, we don't have a single damning thing on Vic? Outside of having the sensibilities of your grandma? And Rial has actually said that they're withholding that information for his own good?
That's what puts me at a bit of ease making the facetious conjectures I do. These people aren't serious-- why should I reasonably believe that they're telling the truth beyond "he's a bit too huggy"?
Even then, though, what I can't satisfyingly answer, given my position, is... why would we get detailed stories along the lines of what we've gotten (even if they may be lacking in the actual important parts) in service of a complete farce?
As we've talked about, it has to do with the
DAMN method.
Destroy
A
Man
Now
The method #KickVic chose was
DAMN over Twitter: attach themselves to the decade old rumor-mill allegations with key victimhood verbiage thrown into tear-jerking public statements to get the bloodhound that is #MeToo
(also falling into irrelevancy after L and L of how corrupt it is a an engine of power) and #KickVic to do the dirty work of convicting Vic before a court trial had ever taken place, using any feasible tactic and information -- falsified or not -- possible.
The first step of any war campaign is propaganda, demonization, demoralization, brow-beating and dehumanization of the intended targets; No one does this better than catty bitches over the internet --
isn't that right, PULL?
By making up fabrications, and mixing it with half-truths, inaccuracies, and outright hoaxes that would be hard to prove without a form of physical evidence in the form of unspoofed photos, videos, and verified written statements from verified sources on a secondary record, you create a No-Win Morton's Fork scenario:
- If you attempt to disprove how the fake news isn't real, people attack you for dismissing the lived experience of these pretend victims;
- If you attempt to explain and detail how unbelievable the accusations are, simply by pointing to the evidence, people dismiss your accounts and opinions on virtue of gas-lighting, gish-galloping, and dog-piling.
- If you're too big to dogpile and drown out, they argue #NotAll -- and them summarily draw away attention from that potential loss by pointing at another "source" for proof.
The operand goal is to arrive at the conclusion of virtue-signaling how brave and resilient these victims are, so they can split the lion's share of Vic's jobs between themselves while throwing Vic down a flight of stairs, never to recover from this again.
#KickVic's authors (Kaylyn, Marchi, Rial, Sabat, every lesser VA towing the narrative line -- even Lauren, because she's the frontline to make Step One possible) didn't count on several to almost all of their lies to be fact-checked and exposed as them taking random pictures and video-accounts and using them as supposed evidence, only for the original owner and person being used as a tool to outright prove and deny that the crime ever took place, was consensual, and/or to not use the material in question to
DAMN Vic's career, name, and brand.
They also didn't plan on the transcript of Vic's i09 article to get leaked to the public, where he's able to apply context to what he was being accused of in reference to whom was accusing him of it, preventing the character assassination attempts tot yield fruit for long.
The other thing they didn't plan for, until it was too late to DFE, was for a focused group of people to rake their media accounts over the coals and to expose the character establishment of their moral center and validity of opinion;
For example,
- Sarah Wiedenheft (Wide 'N Heffer) didn't expect us to find out about her brother.
- Amanda Winn Lee didn't expect to have people blast out the Pen-Pen video, despite it being an industry open secert, as much as the sexual tourism that goes on at these conventions because of how fully cucked these VAs who are declining in sexual market value actually are -- including the the built-in orbiters;
- Rial, Sabat, Marchi, and Funimation didn't expect for the fans to outright resist them despite all the siren calls and reassurances that they'd be #OnTheRightSideOfHistory;
- Funimation wasn't expecting #KickVic to be as batshit insane on the internet as the talent publicly were, exposing them as public hypocrites when held up to the fire next to the tweets in question after making a public statement about not tolerating harassment from anyone.
All of these multiple plot-threads being pulled apart at the seams because of how single-minded they were in pursuing them has now lead to the Red Strings choking them all to death.
And now, they have to watch from a distance while Nick Rackets mocks them on a weekly basis informing everyone who will listen on how full of shit they really are -- and making it entertaining while he does so.
The only out is to beg Vic for mercy, and to beg BHBH to be gentle and generous with the Bad Dragon dildo and lube.
Personally, as a screenwriter, it's funny how stupid these VA are to never have picked up some general lessons from the source material and themes of the work they've been in -- especially in regards to Tate No Yuusha Nariagari;
If only they actually gave a fucking shit about the source material enough to read and analyze it, they would have seen how poorly this would have gone -- By trying to DAMN Vic, they only DAMNed themselves.
...I only thought that it was weird for him to do stuff like that at an anime con, but he does it for the people that would otherwise be at church?
How is this guy a villain?
"Big bad christian man gonna convert all those paypigs into devout religious people who hate our amorality"
-KickVic & PULL, probably.
