Alot of these fucking CA members desperately tried to act all high and mighty by saying how they knew jewwario was a predator all along but didn't say anything because they were scared of backlash while it was pretty obvious they were gushing about JW themselves for years, just selfishly trying to tout themselves as some sort of champion for victims that desperately wanted to out JW when they were in fact stuck up his ass for years

Actually Weinstein's fall from grace was a wide number of factors, him being a sexual harasser being the basic crime and all sorts of shit happening that made it impossible for Hollywood to keep it hidden or unwilling to move heaven and earth to protect him:
1. Prior to his fall from grace, Weinstein's power base was starting to slip. He hadn't had a huge big titted money hit in ages, amongst his various pet projects. Most of his pet projects were middle of the road hits which made money but were not box office juggernauts. Or worse, failed vanity projects he midwifed so that the big named actors involved would go on an do generic action film or generic romcom for another studio executive. His brother was quite upset about this, hence him turning on Weinstein the moment shit hit the fan.
2. Trump and Weinstein's own political liability. Weinstein was a key player in Hollywood's love affair with the Clintons and the Obamas. Whenever the Clintons or Obama wanted a policy they wanted pushed, they told Weinstein and Hollywood would shill it until the public were all for it.
He also (allegedly) was a bagman for the Obamas and Clinton, when it came to making illegal campaign donations off the books. He would take huge donations from top directors/actors and give them to the DNC without any paper trail.
With the rise of Trump, Weinstein was funnelling HUGE amounts of under the table donations to the DNC and the Clintons leading up to the election. So much so, that some have speculated the media ultimately threw Weinstein to the wolves because better he go down for being a sexual predator, than campaign finance fraud and make it impossible for liberal celebrities to illegally fill DNC coffers.
3. Ronan Farrow had a huge grudge against the liberal media after his attempt at being a TV personality on MSNBC ended in humiliating fashion, after his SJW themed news show got canceled due to low ratings. Some have speculated that Farrow explicitly went after Weinstein because of the second item above and there was fear he might jump sides and go to a conservative media outlet with the story if no liberal outfit would publish his takedown of Weinstein. Especially since....
4. It's been rumored that Steve Bannon was threatening to go public with a similar story, as payback after the left went all-in to drive him from the White House. Some have speculated, this was to
A. to kneecap the Democrats using Hollywood as an illegal ATM for their campaign coffers since with Weinstein gone, Hollywood celebrities wouldn't have their go-to guy to hand off their cash to.
B. Eliminating one of the guys at the heart of Hollywood shitting on Trump and his supporters, post-electon.
C. Super damage the left leaning media by exposing how they kept spiking stories about Weinstein's crimes and how they were an open secret, due to Weinstein's power and influence making the media cover his ass.
They went with Farrow's story rather than risk Bannon breaking it through someone else, who might also bring up the illegal campaign finance stuff and who knows what other illegal shit from Hollywood.

Weird, I was just now watching Jim's TGWTG series on YT, which had me tracking down info on these very people when I refreshed this thread and saw your response. That's some Matrix shit there. (Or Netflix, considering the bastards keep adding shit to their library one week after I sail the high seas to acquire whatever it is I want to watch that they don't have until after I get it elsewhere.)
