Honestly, I don't know anything about what's going on. I know what the accusations are, but I don't know Vic and don't really follow anime in general. That's nothing against the guy, I just don't really follow this particular niche (tbh, I don't really follow celebrities at all because I think being in a cult of personality is bad for being a good person).
Outside of that, all I can do is look at who is involved in this clusterfuck and realize that I'm extremely biased against what these people have to say, so it's pretty unfair of me to chime in. Nah, it was Warner Music Group (WMG) and Sony Music Entertainment (SME) that put in a content ID claim (shown under the Sarah McLachlin portion of the picture). Roughly, anything nearing/longer than 10 seconds of a song can trigger an algorithm that auto claims videos. Yes, that's his counterclaim. They have to respond within 30 days.
