Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

Anyway I heard people say that it's because "you feel drawn to the LGBT community because you're trans but don't realize it, so you assume you're L or G." Which doesn't really make sense either.

Could you elaborate on where and how you heard this? I'd like to know more.

The article is a disaster. Read if you like, but I'll sum it up for you:

"Here is a story about this totally for-real girlfriend I really genuinely broke up with and who...uh...probably won't read this column that has my name over it talking about how she ultimately meant less to me than some Twitter hashtag. She lives in Canada, yeah. By the way, I've got a few projects coming up that I'd like to get noticed. And hopefully, I can land some serious roles instead of one-off appearances nobody remembers.

"Please listen and believe, because I am totally not a self-described 'professional storyteller' in this moment of complete True and Honest openness. Really, I'm absolutely the victim in my sudden and unexplained breakup with the white girl who totally exists."

Even if I take this story at face value, they are absolutely still using those words behind the teacher's back.
I know I would have. It's like when a teacher says "hey stop talking", the kids don't stop talking... they just do it quietly.

It's weird, because if you go back a few years, she was openly lesbian (or at least claimed to be one) and also didn't look like a Tumblrette caricature:

I just cannot wrap my head around gays and lesbians who first declare themselves to fancy the same sex but then troon out and start claiming they are into the opposite sex (bonus points if they're like Zach or Alex Vidal and only date/screw other trans identifying members of the same sex)... what's the point?

According to Carey Callahan, a detransitioner, she went from bisexual to straight over the course of her transition. It seems possible that hormones can play a role, although you'll get crucified by the LGB for saying so. As another example, women born with congenital adrenal hyperplasia are much more likely to be lesbians than women without any hormonal issues.

I'll go looking for links when I get home. It's just something that came up tons on Tumblr and Reddit when people (mostly ftms that I saw) were questioning. So the OP would say something like "I used to think I'm a lesbian but now that I'm trans I don't want to date women!" and replies would spout the reasoning I just described about "you felt attracted to the lgbt community before, but that was because you were secretly trans". It was always in that sort of context where people who formerly id'ed as lesbians were confused about their orientation when trans.

Interesting. I think a lot of people believe that LGBT is a perfect monocultural haven of suburban liberal ideals meeting free love and infinite compassion. Come on in! We Accept You For Who You Are! Everyone is Equal Here! (I can safely say that this is emphatically not the case.) So naturally it appeals to people who feel confused and alienated IRL. Then the social pressure of Facebook and Twitter kick in, so you'd better claim as much oppression points as you can if you want to be popular. In the end, it just confuses kids more.

Apparently shaving is hyper feminine now.

Just say you're a crossdresser and go.

...obligatory "name was Einstein" thing....

From the truly amazing r/TheFairerSex
This is one of those cases where even if it's true it does not make the subject of the tweet look good. Who the hell is so immature that they walk out of a date because someone gave their extremely milquetoast opinion?

These people want sycophants, not romantic partners who challenge them or veer from the narrative du jour in any way. How dull.

^Then how are men supposed to learn how to "do better" if patriarchy is so entrenched within the status quo that it's invisible?! (Ugh, kill me.)

Kelly-Jo should resign herself to spinsterhood. I hear it's empowering and awesome.

She already has. Women are finding out what the results of feminism are as they age. They're finding themselves lonely and unable to find a good man worth marrying. They traded love and a family for a career and "empowerment", and when they finally want love and a family all they're getting are cats and empty one-night stands.

The Gillette ad was shite. And I am a feminist. They were amusingly cheesy before, why change to some wet SJW crap? Stick to the ‘chiselled Male looks Into middle distance on yacht, dressed in casual knitwear while blonde lady strokes shaven cheek in awe, set to screaming guitar riff.’

If Gillette want to serve women, they can stop making women’s razors all pink and twice the bloody price of the men’s. Hmph.

Women can buy men's razors if color and/or price are an issue. I can assure you that in reality, men's razors aren't any cheaper than women's, though. The pink tax is heavily exaggerated at best, a load of purposely manipulative bullshit at worst.
