If I recall correctly, all of the comments that we see in the floraverse comment section are moderator approved. Individually as well, I think. It's probably also the reason why we're not seeing any critical/negative comments. So, that.

I can confirm this. I tried to post a lengthy comment on the Floraverse update video where glips self insert killed the people who called her out. It was not approved and never posted.

Regardless, the fans who are still around at this point aren't going to question things. They've downed so much kool-aid they could be ForbiddenFlora pinups. And it's not like she's getting many new readers. like everyone had said it's her acting like a narc again. but more importantly I think it's because from glips deranged point of view all of these callouts started with pengos original post. that post was the one that everyone saw and the first one glip actually cared about. there was already a group of what glip would call bitter ex-fans from the pmd days talking about how shitty she was, but not a lot of people payed attention to it because how good glip was at drawing, and most of her fans were still teens at the time.

several people have rightly pointed out that glip is doing this because theyre heavily narcissistic, which is true, but no one has really explained so i'll try my hand at it

• buying pengo's music is likely an attempt at hoovering (logically, pengo would probably see anyone buying all of his music at once)
• glip might want to hoover pengo back in so that they can gaslight him more and make him go back on his past words (which they did before, when pengo removed his original post)

2. Rewriting the narrative
- i think this is the main thing: glip is trying to create their own narrative in order to have control. the fact that people dont believe them anymore freaks them the fuck out, and this is their poor attempt of trying to say "LOOK, SEE, I'M THE VICTIM! PENGO WAS WRONG! THAT PROOF IS A LIE! HOW COULD YOU NOT BELIEVE ME?" they cant back up their claims of innocence with evidence, so they resort to whatever the fuck the victim blaming comics are.

3. Spite
- narcs can be spiteful as fuck, especially if theyre on the extreme end of the npd spectrum (like glip is). since glip cant talk to pengo directly, this could be their equivalent of screaming outside of his window, hoping he'll see them and engage.

I'm very curious what kind of borderline-approvable comments weren't approved, but I guess that'd be more of a Twee thing than a Glitchedpuppet thing to talk about. I also wonder if the other cleanup crew even asks Glip about questionable comments or if they just automatically shut it down.
