Dobby isn’t even wrong that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with somebody saying “yeah she’s a Mary Sue, but I don’t give a fuck, I still enjoy her character/the movie”

But Christ, he somehow makes the entirely rational point in such a way that he comes across as a bigger retard than the people reeing about how captain marvel symbolizes the decline of western civilization

There's a reasonable message to be got from his comic - there are dudes out there being overly critical of female characters where they'd give men a pass, they are dudes out there who complain about how a cartoon character isn't sexy enough, etc.

However, knowing that he made the comic, it just feels like he wants people to not critique or say negative things about things he likes, which happens to be media that star or heavily feature women/girls (well.... more accurately, he likes them BECAUSE of those things). Dobson can't fathom that people can be critical of things they like, and these people can be women too. It's like with Steven Universe - there are valid complaints to be had with the animation and writing, but he plugs his ears and ignores that many of the people pointing stuff out that could be improved on are women/gay/trans/not white. Oh, and obviously, this comic is also him trying to group himself with women again and show he's not like other men.

Any time he tries to align himself with women or focuses on women-loving-women stuff, it makes me shiver with revulsion. He's so weird with it.

Lemme guess, he's conflating the Alt-Right with Conservatives, which are not at all the same thing (maybe there's some overlap, but it's venn diagram overlap not complete and utter overlap).

Just like in times past, shallow screechy people considered "conservative" and "Nazi" the same thing, "Alt-Right" and "Nazi" now mean the same thing, so by extrapolation, "conservative" = "alt-right".

Granted there are good products that also happen to frequently be on sale, Dobson doesn’t seem to realize that hardware constantly going on sale, especially when it’s already pretty cheap, is a sign that there’s something up with the product that these sudden flash sales are the only way they can move units.

Anyone know the shelf life of an Ender 3? Because I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point in the near future we hear that Dobbles’ brand new printer “unexpectedly” broke, conveniently just outside the warranty window if he even bothered with a warranty.
