I mean sure, there has never been a real life example in the entire history of humanity of socialism working out in the long run and never mind that the flaws of socialism would inevitably lead to Venezuela imploding in the aftermath. That aside, if I understood the collapse correctly, it's only America's fault in the sense that we diminished the value of oil which Venezuela heavily depended on when its government took complete control of their industry. God forbid another nation try to lead the world in one of its most valuable resources. I mean, diversifying your options is pretty important to a national economy and yes you can specialize in something unique to your country, but that's still really stupid to only rely on it and it alone. This is from what I've read and heard from a Venezuelan, so take it for what it's worth... it's not like I live there or anything.

I do know a lot of people have died because of Maduro's paranoia and absolute refusal to let in doctors, but you can't blame dictators for being paranoid and causing crisis after crisis because of that paranoia. No, that's clearly America's fault or Doctors Without Borders for being spies. For once America didn't assassinate anyone and throw everything into chaos after, but it's still somehow our fault. We might as well just start assassinating everyone if we're gonna be blamed anyways.

Carepost incoming, here's the thing Resetera, most people don't really care what color you are as long as you respect the host country, are for freedoms and adapt to the culture.

Importing lots of people, often illegally, from vastly different cultures and then acting like it's all white people's fault when they don't integrate or adapt is pretty exceptional. As is suggesting if you just keep going with the pursuit of getting white people closer to a minority everything will be magically better.

Life doesn't work like that, people need to be vetted and asked what they believe in before they should be able to permanently stay in a new country. And here's the thing, many of the people you see as on your side think that way too, they just don't speak up sometimes because you're frothing at the mouth for open borders and calling everyone racist who doesn't think as you do.

The idiots on ResetEra can call it 'bigoted' all they want but there's a reason why the concept of a nation exists in the first place. Since the dawn of civilization, human beings founded nations that they can call 'home' to both improve the standard of living and protect its people from threats both inside and outside of said nation. We created nations simply due to the fact that not everyone in the world is a nice person. It's not just white ethnic groups that are like this because it can also be said for every non-white ethnic group out there. If you look at many different ethnic groups, a lot of them have their own countries that they can call 'home' and create a culture to stand out from the rest of the world and many of them have immigration laws for a reason.

I'm not saying that people from different cultures can't immigrate to another country of their choice because I do believe that immigration can be a good thing so long as you don't let in assholes into your country and keep the ones that are willing to benefit your nation and respect the culture of their host nation. But you cannot force diversity into one nation and think that everything is going to be peaches and roses. If you combine different cultures that are very different from each other and are not willing to get along with each other then what you will eventually get is a repeat of the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990's and it won't end well. Again, forced diversity just never works out in the long run.

The funniest thing is that The Covenant from Bungie's Halo games were really similar to an Islamic terrorist organization.
In Halo 3 they even introduced an enemy type that tried to literally suicide bomb you.
IDK what the philosophy of the enemies in Halo 4 and 5 are, but I do know that it wasn't a story that needed to be told, and that showing the face of the Forerunners ruins their mystery.
