If the blackmail stories are true it's entirely possible that:
1. The kamehacon guy simply kicked Monica out in exchange for vic in the first place
OR
2. Kamehacon doesn't even want her there anymore so why would they try and force her to be there?
Small possibility it's a 4D chess play to first allow Monica to acquire money before they can sue her for it or see if it's worth the effort.

Why would they want to honor something that would cause people to leave their con for at least an hour to travel almost 20 miles away?

Seems like a pretty shitty thing to do cosidering this diverts con goers from the venue where artists and vendors paid money to be, what's the point in paying for floor space if some dwarf armed wine aunt and her beta friends are going to actively remove potential costomers?

Alternatively, she's talking out her ass or they are giving her rope to hang herself with when they yank all her ill gotten gains away.
Until they put out an official response, we might want to reserve judgment.
Besides, I suspect the legal beagles planning to drop the hammer are waiting to see how the con goes before unleashing the lawsuits, so they could be just waiting for the bad faith to be a done deal before pouncing on it.

Neither does letting them out of their contracts. Let's try to imagine a way for that to make sense...
Granted, we've only heard about it from BigBeluga, but there might actually be people who demand refunds upon finding out who has dropped. If the con is able to retort, "Hey, your KamehaCon ticket is STILL good for getting something from those people" they deal with less complaints on social media and avoid the potential wrath of those people. I know, those people are impotent and have no power, but obviously KamehaCon THINKS they do and are afraid of them. They caved in to them before and they (probably) did again when they were informed of the idiots dropping. Hell, they may have even thought themselves clever and showing some backbone by demanding their tickets being honored at the idiotevent. It only serves to play further into the idiots' hands, but seriously, aside from inviting Vic back after the Beard told them personally they're going to in without lube if they don't and made them believe it, they've been playing into the idiots' hands and dancing to their tune all along.

That doesn't sound right. She just said that "safety" was the reason why she cancelled her Kameha Con appearance. Then, Kameha Con posted their security system on Twitter to prove that there's plenty of security to have.
Nevermind the cameras and phones, along with Vic's lawyers, being there.
How could you clear everything up without the proof that your safety is at risk? The contract notes that you need substantial proof of this being the case.
If there's nothing to hide, you can talk about that.

Basically, the equivalent of a AI waifu creation out of Crypko, except it adapts to try to be more like an actual anime protagonist IRL.
Changes her look to become more and more of a dangerhair, so it isn't that far off.
