The only way traditional foods get destroyed is if the recipe is gone and(or if this is viable on it's own) the ingredients of said recipe were gone. Their butthurt over someone adding a hot dog to mapo doufu is just speaks of their butthurt over something trivial.

Someone adding a hot dog to a traditional dish is literally the worst thing ever. Why imagine just how much culture had to of been eradicated just because someone actually tried to add something to the food they were eating. Seriously, I'm very sure there are Chinese people who don't really care about what this woman added to her food aside from SJW's who claim they speak for the Chinese.
