I remember when that series ended. It pissed people off. I looked up why people were chimping out and afterward decided not to waste my time with the series.

@Captain Manning If you decide to go down that rabbit hole, prepare for a bait-and-switch of the highest order! Do not get attached to any other girl that appears, even if their personalities are better than the main female MC!

'Kay, still looking for when Nick briefly brought up Toei knows, but the day after the livestream when the Beard first showed up, Nick said he heard that some higher-ups at Funimation may have watched that livestream. Whether they saw the whole thing and got to hear Nick's amazing rant at the two-hour mark, who knows, but when Funimation knew of it, you know Toei was aware of it. There's no fucking way The All-Seeing Eye Toei Animation wouldn't have known within days of Funimation announcing on their public Twitter that they had cut ties with Vic, their hand-picked voice for Broly.

I know I heard Nick casually bring it up once before now that he heard whispers Toei was aware of what was going on; like I swear it was during the time-period when he was imploring people to lawyer up. Once he got the Beard on, notice Nick stopped asking folks if they've lawyered up, though he may have still said it around early March.

Vic got Purged

The purging of Vic was dutifully carried out by the conventions, including comic conventions like Pensacon.

The incident pinged on the radar of Comicsgate.

Comicsgate brings in Nick Rekieta to talk about it because they think something has happened here that requires a lawyers input and they already had a relationship with Nick due to the Waid incident.

Nick agrees and reaches out to Anime Outsiders to get Vic Mignognas contact info.

Anime Outsiders gives the contact info to Nick

Nick called Vic and tell them he knows about a really good law firm run by a bearded man who knows all about nerd culture and that he really, REALLY needs to talk to this bearded man.

edit apparently Nick called Vic to get him on his show, not to hook him up with Ty.

Its almost like the almighty arranged a series of events in the timeline that played out over decades to the current culmination. But that is simply a theory the result of human pattern recognition and not seeing the hand of god arranging a series of totally unrelated events..

But its just in minecraft. Of course. Eh, I am christ sperging. Yes. But I can't help but see the hand of providence in this incident. Its either providence or shear bloody luck.

Any new guesses on Iago/Igor? Nick seemed to confirm they're both voice actors. Sabat/Schemmel? Sabat/Strait? McFarland/Sabat?

He also seemed to mention them as separate from Rial. So Rial, Toye, Shane would be out.

They just can't stfu. Notice the two people we know for a fact have representation (Todd and Vic) have gone completely radio silent about ANYTHING regarding the impending lawsuit? Vic's all "Love and light! You're all excellent and if my heart had arms it would be hugging you!" to the fanbase.

Contrast with the spergs. If they've got representation it's either bad representation or they just aren't listening to them. Truly baffling.

Ty Marbo has got to have an erection the size of an actual Battleship Yamato. Or more disturbingly (erotically for some of you I'm sure), ALOD has an even bigger erection I'd wager.
