Oh make no mistake, deep down, at least Arin gets off to the thought that people think he's physically attractive. Because he knows he actually looks like a chubby redneck with 50 chins.

You got proof for that? I did a little digging and he had mentioned personal matters coming up, but I couldn't find anything that said that.
Ross and Holly got a divorce, but that was a while ago, maybe thats what you're thinking of?

No proof. I've noticed a general lack of tweets about each other, Jared hasn't tweeted about Ares that I've seen (but she talks about him constantly knowing that his mom is upset and needs love and support), she's been extremely depressed on twitter (mentioning how alone she is), and she tweet and deleted something about having to turn off the new Arrested Development episode, because "click I love you, click I don't" isn't funny when it happens to you in real life. Something like that, not verbatim unfortunately as the reference was lost on me. Her twitter is @AtelierHeidi if anyone wants to look.

Even if they were - that wouldn't explain why the Grumps would delete/private any videos pertaining to him from their channel.

I acknowledge that it's a reach, but I said that it could have caused behind the scenes tension, IE a fight or falling out. Just spitballing.
 
I subjected myself to the new music video. The one plus I'll give it is the animation is very well done.( Can't think of how much that must've cost to commission.) But for crying out loud it's the same goddamn jokes we've been hearing for 6 years. Song structure goes as follows. Introduce game and characters-Have them do shit but it turns bad-Dick Joke-End. I wouldn't know anything about PJ's personal life but his review output has definitely gone down the toilet for almost a year. He did make a comment on his last video about dealing with 'issues' and he still posts regularly on his gaming channel so I don't know. Maybe he just got burned out on the whole review schtick and is taking a sabbatical or something.

Someone recently made a video exposing Hanson's hypocrisy over people saying "nigger."
The video starts with Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan discussing the band Guns N' Roses using the word in an old song of theirs.
Avidan says that he doesn't like their lead singer, Axl Rose, because of his use of the word.
Hanson expresses disbelief that they could get away with using it in a song.

The video then exposes Hanson's hypocrisy by showing clips of old content where Hanson himself says the word.
The first clip is him talking on a very old liverstream about racist things he's done, and his wife brings up that once, after dropping off a black person, he started saying "nigger" over and over to "get it out of [his] system". His wife actually says the word.
Next up are several clips of his (pre-GameGrumps) gaming cartoons, voiced by himself, where the characters use the word repeatedly.
Finally, an old GameGrumps clip is shown where he apparently screams the word (which their editor removed and replaced with an elephant's trumpet) causing Jon Jafari (aka Jontron) to laugh in disbelief.

Every single time you see someone is throwing other people under the bus for making racist jokes, saying nigger, gay jokes, etc. you can guarantee that there is tons of proof that they have done it a million times themselves and think that if they join this fake woke shit and "expose" their friends, people won't get pissy with them because they've "changed"

It's kinda like troll shielding but for people who say nigger a lot and now want to make money off of SJWs.

It's also kind of funny how Arin is going to say he's "changed'' in an apology video or tweet while also still condemning people who've said it, even though they use the exact same defense.

I think what's worse is that, if he does respond/apologize; it'll feel incredibly disingenuous - because he was forced to do it in order to protect his image. And, of course, his fans will just eat it up and praise him for being the good ol' boy they know and love; reassuring him he never had to apologize because it happened when he was young and didn't know any better (despite the fact he was in his mid twenties when it happened).

It's kind of funny that he even bothers to make these kinds of comments, because he's already living the dream of all these woke idiots, always in a comfortable safe space free of any conflict or responsibility. Arin already lives in a little bubble where the people around him won't dare criticize him because he supplies their paychecks, and he refuses to look at any feedback that isn't someone gushing about how amazing his work is.
I suppose the only thing left to do in that situation is talk down about other people so you feel like you're better by comparison.

I think you're right. He's no longer really growing as a person. He doesn't put in a hard day's work or take care of anyone or anything except himself. He essentially has all he wants/needs and his job is a hobby he enjoys.

Sounds great in theory, but it's incredibly stagnant and people need to keep themselves busy... Challenge is a necessity in life, not enough to be stressed but enough to feel like you're doing something. He doesn't have that. He has that lazy "dream" that lowkey drives people crazy and creates inexperienced bums with too much time on their hands..

However, If he virtue signals and "exposes" people he feels justified being lazy because he's a "good person". In his mind he's fighting the good fight. Plus he gets even more asspats for literally just denouncing a swear word. Simple. It's comforting to him that he can continue living an easy life without giving up the gratification of feeling like you're actually contributing to society. The only problem is that it's not enough and it'll get worse and worse unless he starts doing other things with his life or getting at least more creative with his content and trying. He's just not challenging himself and hasn't for a very very long time.
