Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

Anyone aware of this kickstarter project (fully funded)?

For some coincidental reason, everyone has dark 'beetus eyes.

I wonder what kind of dupe would think "oooh, I wanna subscribe to that!" Never mind: fat people.

I am glad fat writers have a place to go, though... Hope they stay there.

it’s about “being into being active, but not into toxic diet culture.”

Which is why it features a cover of three obese people sitting around and eating? I mean at least draw people being active?

Anna's definitely making a splash with that Gillette ad:

Gillette Venus Ad Campaign Features Obese, Trans Models

“Venus is committed to representing beautiful women of all shapes, sizes, and skin types because ALL types of beautiful skin deserve to be shown,” declared Gillette in a Twitter post. “We love Anna because she lives out loud and loves her skin no matter how the ‘rules’ say she should display it.”

The advertisement faced criticism from social media users who claimed Gillette should not be promoting unhealthy lifestyles.

“99% sure the woman in the photo is on an anti-depressant and/or statins. I have several loved ones that are obese. I’m all for making ppl feel comfortable in their skin, but let’s not glamorize obesity, please. It is NOT healthy. Supportive is fine. Encouragement is cruel,” commented one user, while another proclaimed, “My uncle died from diabetes complicated by him being obese. Please, don’t promote unhealthy lifestyles and pretend THIS is beautiful.”

Anna’s skin ISN’T beautiful tho because she’s constantly afflicted by sores and spots that don’t heal and her weight only makes her spots worse. She had patches of bandage on her face for days at a time to cover up boils and spots! She had sores that lingered in photos for WEEKS.

I thought "toxic" means harmful, but they are clearly on harmful diet.
The whole kickstarter page is fun, tho (the most funny part is that somebody paid actual money). I'm even interested now.

There is drawing of noseless obese woman in sport clothes, which I find hilarious.

I found this plus size youtuber a couple weeks ago. She is your typical obese youtuber. She talks about clothing, complains about how horrible people are because she is a fat women ect.. This is an older video, but in this video she complains about her uber driver. It starts at 5:58. She talks about how the uber driver said that he liked her legs and also about how he was driving fast. At 8:22 she talks some more about the uber driver.

Something I noticed among FA youtuber's, is as time goes on they just get fatter and fatter. If you look at loeylane and sarah rae vargas, you can see how big they have gotten. I know that sarah rae vargas has tried to lose weight, but she has failed and has given up.

Oh Loey... she has lied about her size since the beginning

In the before picture she would claim to be a size 14. Looks like a 16-18 to me.
Now she claims to be a size 18... when she is obviously way past 20.

Way to be "body positive" ! ?

I still like Sarah Rae Vargas... she does have a lot of cringy videos but I don't watch her that often for her to bother me anyway lol

- Also here's a cringy promo video for a skin-care line Loey came up with... idk how the world allowed that to even happen

She looks huge.

Isn't using stretch mark cream the opposite of being fat positive? Because all Target has online in her brand is stretch mark cream and anti chaffing cream.

This picture gives me so much anxiety. That skirt is somehow worse and more exposed to me than walking down the street dressed only in underwear.
It also looks incredibly uncomfortable. That's the problem with making skinny girl clothes in fat girl sizes...there's a lot more to squeeze.
Also, that's definitely not a normal thing to be wandering around Midtown during the day in, is it? Especially since judging by the background people it looks like it's decently cold out. Feel bad for New Yorkers who gotta deal with people like this--seems like every online fat girl has a New York photoshoot.

This outfit would look cheap no matter what size you are. If I can see every last dimple on your arse through your skirt, your skirt is too tight, I don’t care how thick or thin you are.
