Even when she's talking about suicide victims she still felt the need to sneak in that snide little "Men are terrible and women are better" comment. What an absolute cunt.
Also, the reason why men choose more violent methods is because they just want to get the goddamn job done, while women tend to be more hesitant and afraid. It's not that deep.

Men try more often and succeed more often. They do use more lethal methods. They often don’t have the emotional support networks in place to blow off steam, and there is still huge stigmas for men to admit they aren’t coping.
I am a feminist. That means I want to sort out the places/times/situations where women are disadvantaged. It does NOT mean I deny every bloody example where men actually do have it worse because they exist. And suicide is one of them.
Men die more often by suicide and it’s a problem that needs attention and could probably be reduced a lot by a few fairly simple things. Men also die / are injured more often in workplace accidents I think.
This is the sort of statistic that won’t be able to be collected if the TRAs have their way because everything will be recorded by gender, not sex.

I sat through three separate suicide prevention/awareness trainings last month. All of the points above were brought up.
Men vs. women and "traumatizing others with their suicide" wasn't mentioned. Because 1. it's not actually a thing and 2. suicides have a tendency to traumatize others no matter how they were completed.
Several of my male friends who used firearms to kill themselves were actually very compassionate regarding others (except maybe the first responders, heh); they went to semi-secluded locations, contacted law enforcement, and then did it there so their homes wouldn't be tainted and their families would be spared the trauma of finding them. Men don't care so much that even though they're so miserable they'd rather die than keep going they still do as much as they can to reduce the impact of their death?
I bet those women also like to say things like OMG suicide is sooooo selfish, what about all the people you hurt when you do that? Which translates to OMG I don't care that you're in pain, your suffering means nothing because I'd be kinda sad if you were gone I guess? P.S. Don't call me with your problems, you're such a downer. Why don't you just cheer up?

Well, thank God "Big Clit Energy" and Shwarmatime have the pulse of things. Otherwise I would have just assumed people committing suicide were in unbearable personal pain, rather than (as I have just been told) subhuman shitlords who bask in their privilege and natural sadism.

I’m sorry, but I just hate it when they get the entire premise of the movie blatantly wrong to suit some agenda. Mulan fought in order to take the place of her sick father and to do that, she had to disguise herself as a man to fit into the army. Also, the story itself is fictional, but women have disguised themselves as men for war usually to follow their male family members or their husbands into battle. Even looking through a historical context, it doesn’t mean they’re transgender. At best, they would be considered cross dressers. Since Mulan identifies as a woman throughout the movie, it is more like doing drag. Taking all of that away, it’s still a dumb idea to have trans people in the military due to mental instability alone. However, it’s even stupider to use a fictional example in favor of letting trans people in the military.

I once knew this old farmer. In his mid-80's. Widower. He had terminal cancer and chose his own way out. He went out to his barn and carefully prepared everything. They called the coroner and rolled up a rug when he was done.
Everybody just nodded when they heard (HIPAA doesn't really exist with rural volly EMTs). It was sort of noble in a way.
