Is it 10 years, 15 years, or 20 years? Shane has claimed all three in the last 24 hours. And he still hasn't addressed the elephant in the room - why VAs and cons alike covered this up for 10 (or 15 or 20) years.

They all claim to have known about it for that long. Where was their concern about fan safety during all that time? And why is their concern limited to Vic? Why are they not looking to purge everyone who is "problematic" from the anime industry?

Nobody is claiming the "women" are liars. Shane's the liar and at this point by all evidence the "women" are fictional.

I'm almost convinced this is a BlueOrca sock puppet, I haven't heard any whalesong for a few days but this cretin has been barking non stop. Has anyone been able to link this account to any other place like PULL or youtube? I hadn't seen anything from them until after the great harpooning and the statement of her having a "plan". I wouldn't put it past her to think that using a sock puppet makes her immune to any potential defamation actions or being told to retract everything.

Again, lawyers talk to each other all the damn time. Without knowing the substance of the conversation, assuming it was even two-way, we have no idea what Ron's relationship is with this attorney. I think Ty just took it on faith that Ron had done more than a consult. Ty's info on this guy was very vague. No hints on a meetup or negotiation.

If you wanna hang your hat on Soye-boy actually having fully lawyered up for the coming storm, that's fine. You don't understand. Vic is just so powerful it's scary. The Brolly movie is animated because if it was live action he would kill everyone on set. It doesn't matter if he pulled his punches, the shock-wave alone would turn the internal organs of the person behind him into minced meat and their bones into a fine white powder. the best part is that if true, that makes them accessories to the crimes they claim and guess what? those don't have a statute of limitations.... meaning they could get picked up and dropped even if the main perpetrator gets away.

Seeing a mental health professional when your career has just been torpedoed is a totally legitimate thing to do anyway. It's a stressful event and having a professional help you navigate that stress in no way implies guilt.
