I was starting to archive to laugh at, but it really doesnt deserve the effort, here's the screenshot. For those playing the home game yes he's running around as a rule's lawyer.. so good news for them, they have a "lawyer" that agrees.

I don't think MarzGurl is gonna get hit in the first round. For one, I don't think we have a big enough war chest (yet) to justify it. For another, she's small fry in comparison, and I don't think she got a letter.

I am willing and able to be wrong and pleasantly surprised though.

I do certainly agree her prospects for the future, with or without a lawsuit, look grim though (see my above analytical post).

She probably has to be deposed at the very least. She started the hashtag and is central to the issue and when the others start throwing each other under the bus, which will happen, they're going to be blaming other people and saying they shouldn't have to pay damages because the damages were caused by some other guy who isn't in the lawsuit. And MarzGurl is a perfect some other guy did that stuff.

And as with most of their literal fake lawyers, this guy has no clue what the fuck he's talking about and hasn't read Knox v. Taylor, to say the least.

They could have literally decided to fire Vic before anyone even tortiously interfered and so long as it hadn't yet happened it would still be TI in Texas. This assclown needs to read the actual fucking Texas case law, not that he's likely to understand it since he isn't a lawyer, but is a gargantuan moron.

Wasn't that A. Stallings@Banalexistance guy the one who claimed Nick got sanctioned around 1 March time frame, bet you he's not a lawyer either.

Either he isn't aware of the specific quirks of Texas TI law that have been discussed in depth by Nick and on this thread or, more likely, he quite simply has no clue what the fuck he is talking about at all.

Also, the minute even ONE of them gets a real sentence, the rest will issue low-visibility/memory-holed retractions to try and protect themselves. None of them are willing to lose their careers/money/freedom over some tweets. Today's righteous cause is tomorrow's backpedal.

Oh, deposed, sure. Maybe.

I just don't think the list of DEFENDANTS is gonna be a long as we'd really like it to be. At least not initially. People shouldn't be despondent that it doesn't include every dangerhair under the sun. If played right, one thing will lead to another.

Also, I have a sneaking suspicion the initial filing is probably done and sitting at BHBH right now. I think all we're really waiting on is for the Monday after Kameha Con to come.

I think it's been drafted since shortly after the Beard firm was retained but revised fairly frequently since then due to flabbergasting acts of stupidity by the defendants.

I want to see Nick retort for my amusement.

Also my education. If I'm understanding right the Mage guy is getting hung up on cancellation clauses, which as far we know are not the case with Kamehacon. Unless Vic is an insurrection or an act of God.

Not sure if there's tortoise interference with Funi/Roosterteeth.

I don't get why any sane person even gives a shit anymore. Vic's going, along with Ty and the Amazons. It's a week away. KickVic lost that battle.

If they were smart, they'd TRY and spin this as the evil nasty Beard holding a gun to KC's head via contractual language (like ANN sorta did). However, some of these people are so dumb they're trying to fight a battle at a place where their enemy had already broken through weeks before, and is rapidly driving towards their rear areas.

Good luck with that dumbshits. We're going to Berlin.

How dare this cockbag use an image from The Prisoner as his avatar pic! The Prisoner was about a heroic man who resisted Groupthink in a place where it was extremely dangerous to do so. A place where people were routinely brainwashed or even killed if they failed to tow the line with their captors. The Prisoner stands out as a work of fiction that values the concept of individual thought and the right of people to resist the common consensus, even though doing so could cost them everything.

The fact that this guy identifies with this show's main character just shows you how out of touch with reality he and his SJW ilk are. (Or rather, it shows you how intensely he and the SJWs are projecting, acting as if they're the ones making the heroic stands against oppressive institutions and not the ones ready to pounce on their friends and light them on fire the moment said friends disagree with them on politics and/or social policy.)

That's actually deep.

Though it's also a variation of what people have said along: That they project their fascism on others.

Is it 10 years, 15 years, or 20 years? Shane has claimed all three in the last 24 hours. And he still hasn't addressed the elephant in the room - why VAs and cons alike covered this up for 10 (or 15 or 20) years.

They all claim to have known about it for that long. Where was their concern about fan safety during all that time? And why is their concern limited to Vic? Why are they not looking to purge everyone who is "problematic" from the anime industry?
Really fucking late on this (page-wise at least, man this thread moves fast) but nobody's calling these supposed dozens of anonymous victims liars. The liars are the ones claiming there's dozens of victims just waiting to come forward and testify. Who are they then? What are their accounts? Gotta say something before you can be called a liar.
