It's interesting how they care about what the FBI thinks if it might get someone in trouble that they don't like, but as soon as the FBI says 'wait we never received a bomb threat about Pensacon, what are you talking about?' suddenly they're not paying attention to the stream.

Doxxing a minor seems like a bit of a dick move, but then again dragging your kid to an anime con in full cosplay isn't exactly "parent of the year" material. Having that highlighted is fair game.

Aren't you just doxxxxxing their parents then? It's not like the minor owns the home, has an actual net worth, or a linkedin profile worth glancing at.

Even the law doesn't always provide minors with the protection afforded to minors. If you can be tried as an adult for going above and beyond, I don't see why you can't get other negative consequences.

These people are so busy signalling their virtue they can't understand that the way to get the public not to look at something is to just refuse to acknowledge it exists. There could be a list of every single person who's ever tweeted in support of KV (looking at you, twitteruser who listed every single person who donated to Trump's campaign) and if no one talks about it anywhere but where it's listed no one will go looking to see that info.

The problem is the way you hide your dox is by adhering to the one rule of OPSEC from which all other rules of OPSEC are derived, Shut The Fuck Up. However if you want to play the victim you must continually signal to others how you are the victim, which requires you to never shut up.
Now when you get doxed that's a great moment to play the victim, but also a bad moment for your OPSEC. So what do you care about more? Do you care about your OPSEC, and as a result you will Shut The Fuck Up, or do you care about playing the victim, in which case you will do everything in your power to tell everyone that your information is out there.
It's clear what these people value more. They care more about people knowing they are a victim then they do keeping information about their kids out of the public.

I figured he'd fit in kickvic after seeing his TVTropes account. That place is a fucking hugbox and have already thrown their lot in with kickvic. Then again, they threw in their lot on the anti side of CG and GG as well, so no big surprise here. Also, seeing that he put California as his location on Twitter, it just confirms that the info on whitepages was indeed correct. Just need to find shit to back it up.

well not everyone has super basic military training...or basic logic either. I mean if the VA's had not tried to cash in on their victimhood we wouldn't be here at all. They could have remained quiet and whisper networked Vic's career away.
