This has been mentioned multiple times but it bears repeating: Say Vic really has done all these things Soye, Rial, Marchi and others are claiming. Let's say all of those rumors passed around fujoshi circles had merit but no one listened to them because they're insane fujoshi, you can't blame people for not taking them seriously. If it's true that if Funimation was fully aware of his antics and had told him in the past to knock it off and he never did, then why didn't Funimation file a report? Why did Funimation not take it into their hands to do something about it, the lack of an HR department notwithstanding, and let Vic go way back when?
Supposedly, Monica claimed that if she had spoken out about this years ago, she was going to get blacklisted because Vic was "too powerful" in the industry. But she wouldn't have had to do anything outside of reporting it all those years ago to where Funimation's All-Seeing Eye could confirm her allegations because they would have backlogs of evidence dating back years (such as surveillance tapes of the incident happening on their property like Mr./Ms. Ron Toye claims) and would've done something about it. If they had evidence of this, they had the chance to do it years ago before social media blew up. This could've gone under people's radars back in the day if they could do it. That's what they did with Scott Freeman, although being a convicted pedophile is a vastly different case than hair-pulling, I suppose, but they didn't make a big stink about that.
So even if, IF they're swearing they're telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help them God, it makes Funimation just look really shitty for sitting on their thumbs and doing nothing for 10+ years and going over the statute of limitations just because I guess Vic makes them some really good dough. I guess.
