It was about an apparent convention blacklist being passed around, with known VA's, thots, photographers on it. Captain manning posted the brokenstaircase.info google doc (quoted below), which may or may not be the same list. Questions along the lines of: if you know about a blacklist or anything related to the people listed in the google doc.

We already have it. It's the Broken Staircase list. Monokun, Todd, and Vic are on there. Sevakis WAS on it, until he got white-knighted off by the same ANN fags trying to destroy Vic. Polygon did a writeup about it.

However, I just checked the website, and the account has apparently been suspended.

Interesting point but I think the case will be where most of the defendants are in Texas, and while California's anti-SLAPP may be the most robust in the nation, Texas's is pretty tough too. I don't think she'd fare any better on that in California, tbh.

I'm sure BHBH has gone through her shit, but just offhand, while she started the hashtag, I don't specifically recollect anything as horribly and obviously actionable as shit SoyeBoye (for example) says on a daily basis. I haven't read everything she said though. You wouldn't want to sue her if she hasn't.

I think they're one and the same.

But bear in mind conventions talk to each other, and there might be a less public one.

I'm 99% certain AWL was on such an informal list, back in the day. What happened at ACEN '99 rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

Couldn't you say Skye doxed herself though? I mean she literally posted enough of the title that her White Knights could easily find her address and such. Wonder what kind of weird stuff will be sent to her because she just had to post all that info.

When I first said that everybody needs to start archiving the Blue Orca (upon request from Nick), I got a little bit of pushback in the form of it sounding like a PA request. Fortunately, I think most people came around to the point of view there's lulz potential from her too.

Because it pretty much was and as several of us noted she is utterly desperate to the point she likely jills herself to the thought of her own thread here on the Farms.

The 20+ pages we have of her constant tweets are some of the most fucking boring on this thread.

Funimation probably wouldn't know. Even if there was no HR department, someone there had to do something. It's not at though no one is capable of investigating nor can do something about it. But apparently, no one did anything. Probably because no one bothered to tell anyone considering that it's a nothingburger. And anyone who did would consider what they investigated "inconclusive". It's almost as though they annoyed people to the point of firing Funimation.

People like Rial and Tara Sands say he's been kicked out of many studios because of his behavior, but they don't tell us which ones so that people can investigate. It would really help and could actually back up what they said as evidence. But they don't do that.

Don't forget how dumb the logic of these fucking people are. Shane keeps constantly saying a bunch of cons disinvited Vic for his behaviour too. Rather than:

1) Vic had better offers, including Australia for some of it.

2) Cons rarely get the exact same guests year after year unless one guest happens to be super local/in with the con organisers and thus becomes a mini-repeat gig for them,

I stand by my position statement that helping Nick and laughing at a cow (who has interjecting herself in the thread topic) are not mutually exclusive.

And she is a cow. The fact that she craves attention doesn't negate the fact she's a cow. In fact, a lot of cows are attention whores. If she's a defendant in a future lolsuit, you'll be happy to have those archives.

Whether she gets her own thread or not is not for me to decide (I can't be arsed to make it, as I have enough trouble just keeping up with this).

Other than California's SLAPP statute, not really. If it were in federal court according to Texas law, though, Texas law might apply even if the case were heard in California. I doubt it would make much difference as Texas's anti-SLAPP statute would be available in that situation, and at least with defamation, is likely to work in more or less the same way.

(Trump recently used it against one of Avenatti's clients in fact.)

He did say it would be pretty funny if they did it in California, because it would be in Federal court, citing diversity jurisdiction, and it would be WAY more expensive for her to defend.

I can see why some people thought it was a little annoying, since she was going full cyclic for a while before her suspension. @Army Burger was being very on-the-ball with his archiving.

A voice actor was giving out hugs and then he gets accused of sexual harassment.

Then all of the stupid fucks over at Funimation run a Kraut and Tea-styled 24/7 'Gay Ops' in the attempt to ruin Vic Mignogna's reputation only for these idiots to destroy their own reputations just like Kraut and Tea back then.
