I know he would not be able to hear a message or take anything from it, but I’d really love to hear his reaction to Shane Burcaw or anybody else in this series who struggles through problems (all terminal) and yet who manage to put it in grand perspective and not wallow in their own drtt patch.

He couldn’t possibly say he has it harder than this man,(who is fortunately still alive) he couldn’t say his disability is worse. We can see is Russ’s attitude is shitty-but what does he see? How can he justify being such a dickwad in comparison to people like this? Would he blame the “trolls?“ Then why doesn’t Shane have trolls? They are both disabled. The difference between being positive or negative is a switch in one’s head, and Russ would rather people take pity on him than admire him every time.
We’ll never know and he’s not all there anyway. But I’d be very curious to see Russ watch this video than do his machinations to see exactly how he changes this story to make himself worse off than Shane. We know he would, I just wonder how he’d go about it.
