If they did marry, could they try and apply some sort of retroactive privilege?

Nope. Not in Texas. The communication is only privileged during the marriage.

Meanwhile Nick's gaining 2-4x as many followers while tweeting a hell of a lot less.
It's almost like being a knowledgeable source with verifiable qualifications carries weight.

Plus let's be real, drinking from a mug of schadenfreude whenever Ren twitter-vomits and Nick shoots back is satisfying.

There are two spousal privileges. One is that communications between spouses during the period of the marriage are privileged against discovery. The other is a testimonial privilege, that a spouse cannot be compelled to testify against the other spouse. This only applies in criminal cases in Texas.

So in short, no, unless I'm missing some nuance.

Did y'all know that Ty's daughter likes retweeting happy puppies? I like happy puppies too. Everybody loves happy puppies. Only shitty people who need to neck themselves don't like happy puppies.

Did you just doXXXXXXX Ty's daughter's dog?

You MONSTER!

Unless he's just as dumb as Ron, I feel sorry for the man.
I don't feel too badly for him. He has options. Either fire Ron as a client, or make some money off him and see if Ron can get a deal.

Either way, he'd better make sure his shit smells like roses for when Ron files the inevitable ethics complaint against him. I'm almost tempted to feel sorry for him there, but unless he's fucked something up somehow, he'll be fine - just some funny wallpaper to share around the office.

TFW you're so dumb your attorney fires you.

So cultural appropriation? or Mexican Face?
Could this be considered Malice at this point?

Let’s hear it for “Beto McCormick”!

The very creation of the RaisedbyWolves account is evidence of Malice. It pretty clearly seems to have been created exclusively for the purpose of defaming Vic (And to some related extent Nick).

Is it still privileged if the Wife’s Boyfriend is in the room with them?

Neither does PizzaPonyboy’s Canadian Girlfriend.

So while we wait for @Null and @emspex to Rekieta and Drexel tonight, I would like to bring attention to an exceptional Funimation employee.

Sigh.

You would think a company like Funimation would know to wrangle their tards. They are under a microscope and by all accounts facing a lawsuit in which anti-christian bias may feature prominently. Now is really not the time for your employees to be sperging about conservatives and offering seriously spicey social justice takes.

If Ron does fire an ethics complaint against him, he'll properly be like:

File an anti-SLAPP and sue him to oblivion.

Eh, she seems a mostly harmless lobotomized dippy hippy NPC. By the standards of the entertainment industry she seems almost centrist. I mean she only hates the President? Which is mild compared to the usual TDS Twitter Twats.
