TUG’s stream today is supposedly discussing some evidence that Renfamous is as we suspect a paid troll. Posibly in Quesada’s employ. I haven’t been able to listen to it to hear his evidence. But he is generally a bit more methodical than the standard YouTube shitflinger. He’s the dull accountant that goes through the financials.

Having a fool for a client is a fairly normal state of affairs for a Lawyer. Especially one that deals in criminal defense. Hilarious as usual. Nick is following standard journalistic rules for anonymous sources. They must be first person sources, and they must be verified and ideally corroborated. Whereas Soye is believing the “my girlfriend in Canada” dude. He still doesn’t grasp he’s the one that’s going to need to put name, face and sworn testimony to every one of his claimed “victims”.

Y'know, places like Funimation and Crunchyroll think they're hot shit because of their streaming services, but I remember 4KIDS being kind of ahead of the curve when it came to streaming. Thing was, they were just really shitty with money and were rather out-of-touch by not making available the uncut subs for premium users. Had they done that instead of cowering in the corner whenever the FCC looked at them funny, I think they could've survived losing Pokémon and (potentially, if they were smart about their money) Yu-Gi-Oh.

If I remember correctly ADVision really had the first proto streaming service. They had an anime channel on Comcast’s fledgling On Demand Service. They had a small but decent catalog on there, including Evangelion.

Yeah, as a general rule I believe you are correct. I don’t think SJWSpiderman is Ren (Although I don’t rule out Kwanzer). But RaisedbyWolves lines up with Ren in enough ways to raise eyebrows. They appeared just as Ren was in Twitter jail. The style, subjects and overall content of the posts are very very similar to Ren’s signature style. And you can see over the past week a number of periods where one will fall silent, and the other will appear to begin posting, then an hour or two later it reverses. Nothing conclusive, but RbW just looks and feels like a disposable sock using RENs signature style.

I don't see sockpuppets everywhere, but I do think there's an interesting case to be made RbW is Ren.

What clinches it for me is not the narrative, but the fact that RbW suddenly popped up during Ren's suspension. Ren's problem is that her backup accounts (I believe there's at least two), are too well-known. She would have been popped for ban-evasion PDQ if she used those.

To be fair, "like 20 followers every time I zing him" might be about right, or maybe slightly overstated. She's been on a slight upward climb since about January when the Weeb Wars kicked off. (It'd be interesting to know what happened, if anything, to cause the decline of 2018-Q4. Unless I'm reading it wrong and she lost a big chunk of her followers in January, in which case jumping on #kickvic might've been what did it.)
