As a Torontonian I have no problem with this. Other than the fact that it doesn't go far enough.
Tack in assholes who go to one of those little... Ah fuck how to explain it.... Rows of 2-seat sets, sit on the outer one, and refuse to move in or stand up so that somebody can sit in the other one.
I've seen cases where people explicitly ask to get through and the people just pretend they don't hear them.
It's a crowded transit system and we have far too many assholes in it.
Congrats Toronto: you've gone full ADF!
Yeah. I don't like this omic.
"We have to be small for them?!"
Says who?
This is something I don't like in their worldview. This attitude of helplessness. "Oh, oh we
have to do this! Simply
have to!"
The fuck is stopping you from doing the opposite?
True, I sometimes seem these comics/rants where guys are giving them dirty looks, but here's the thing...
How do you think guys treat other guys who behave that way? If I sit down and the guy next to me spreads his legs way out pushing me to the side, you think we're going to exchange smiles, wink at each other, and go "Wayda patriarchy, bro."
No. I'm going to mutter asshole under my breath and glare at him, or push back.
You don't want to be small, don't be small. Is the guy sitting next to you holding a gun to your head saying "You best not spread your legs out" or something?
I see lots of "be rough and tough" sort of material from some of my Feminist friends. What I really like though, is seeing girls act on it. If you find this mentality that you have to be a wallflower disagreeable, act against it.
EDIT - Also. I-Is that the Law for Kids PSA comic style? I.... I want to edit this to be followed by a picture of a Cis male and one of those girls sitting at the desk of a principal saying "You are
both suspended."
