Last night when I was going through her tumblr there were a couple posts from 2012 where she said she was getting mail and phone calls from the Republican party but claimed she had no idea why. She's either lying here or there.

Her tumblr made it clear how secretly insecure she is about her looks/body. I think a lot of her tough girl schtick is a pure act because she wants to be internet famous, but then she cries in the shower later.

Shane's implying he did everything, but that he wasn't intentionally being creepy/predatory about it. RbW is self-destructing if they're willing to outright lie in this fashion.

At first, I thought that they were referring to that one guy who claimed his friends got assaulted in Canada, but then I realized that they were referring to Rackets reading the definition of sexual assault in Texas.

Absurd, then, that RbW would interpret "what they're accusing Vic of doing wouldn't even qualify as sexual assault never mind the fact that we have no evidence of these misdeeds" as "Vic can't get prosecuted for sexual assaul because Texan law has a loophole".

They're basically saying "Ah! You said you had consensual sex with your wife! Therefore you admit that you raped her but are shielded by a legal loophole wherein the law doesn't recognize rape if consent is gained!"

Those exceptional fucking exceptionals. They targeted one of Ty's other clients. Presumably not Todd. They called them and harassed them trying to shame them into dropping Ty's firm, the same way they target Tucker Carlson and Rush Limbaugh and other people right of Mao's business contacts (advertisers) that dare don't join in on the unpersoning.

And it "wasn't a single person effort."

They directly went after Ty's business to punish them for taking Vic on as a client.

They're just looking out for their good friend. If they can personally offend Ty enough then he'll represent Vic at a discount, maybe even for free, thus saving both his money and the fan's money. They're just hard-stuck in tsundere. You know how it is.

I can answer that, because the offense came way before the rise of Social Justice as we know it.

There was a campaign called FlushRush, and, as I recall, it started on DailyKos. The idea, at the time, was that Rush was one of the most prevalent conservative commentators (and kind of an asshole, on balance), and since his show was carried by like a dozen different networks by default (including ones subsidized by the government) guaranteeing him market share, they'd go after the one weak point Rush had: his advertisers. The campaign was relatively successful and within about 2 years had crippled his advertiser-base. The hope was that they would render Rush not worth keeping contracted, and eventually, get him off the air.

There was three small problems with this though:

First, Rush was still the biggest game in town even as they were doing this, and since any remotely competent talk radio outside of Rush save for a rare few (such as Hannity) were doing substantially worse, all this did was foster yet more fucking awful top 40 programming, so you can thank the outrage brigade for pretty much 90% of FM radio on the east coast being fucking worthless. They wanted to kill him off entirely with this tactic, but Limbaugh's ratings were simply too high to justify it, and simple economic self-interest kept Rush going strong. No boycott was going to duck out of that much potential cash forever. And it didn't. Limbaugh eventually bounced back.

Second, Rush's base was devoted, and the boycott was never going to break their backs. The boycott sought to bypass the audience - Limbaugh's consumers - entirely because that was an unassailable target. Because Progressives always seek to do an end-run around popular mandate. Just ask the Democrats.

Third, and probably most alarmingly: Rush wasn't really a big deal. He's a bloviating conservative, you could find far more Autistic ones all over FM radio if you went looking for them. And they weren't going after the craziest motherfuckers, either. So why was Rush so critical a lynchpin? If I had to hazard a guess - aside from him being the biggest fish in the proverbial pond: it's because every single batshit thing he used to say - the insane exaggerations he'd make that Democrats and Republicans alike used to laugh at - Progressivism has gone out of its way to prove accurate.

Whatever their reasons, the progressives wanted him destroyed and they weren't able to get it.
