I hate to defend this retard but people are acting like they're saying that beard isn't vic's lawyer and that's not it.

They're saying that Beard isn't the lawyer of the fucking idiots running their mouths on twitter or the hypothetical dozens witnesses to vic's molestations (and neither is nick). Therefore rackets and beard telling them to stop talking shit is witness intimidation.

It's honestly dumber than you guys are making it out to be.

As a lawyer, Nick is very well equipped to get people to depart with their money. Promoting it after the legal process starts happening will be a better piece of advertisement than anything he can say. All he'll have to do is point out the people getting served and say that if people want more results they need to keep donating. It markets itself.

This.

I suspect a lot of well-intentioned #istandwithvic people have fatigue from these past two months. Hell, I think even some of us are at that point.

Once the suit is filed... and if it's a quality complaint (not Landau level bullshit)... I think people will understand that is 100% for reals, live ammo has indeed been fired, and you'll see a second wind.

Sans the Dominique shit, we're basically in the eye of the hurricane right now. April 15th approaches. Gird yourself.

Batten down the hatches, there's a big storm coming!

I know I'm late with this but I just watched Vic's livestream for this week and when some one asks him about who he would pick to voice Qrow you can feel the heart break in his heart. I hope these monsters burn in this life and the next for what they've done to this poor man.
He's talked multiple times about how much he enjoys doing Qrow's voice because it was something out of his typical range, and he felt like he wasn't getting typecast. Now that's been taken away from him and it makes me so sad for the poor guy.

(On the bright side, though, RWBY's currently hemorrhaging veiwers because of this drama, the writers putting ship pandering over plot and character development, and some of the main cast and crew (aka Miles, Kerry, Arryn, Lindsay, and Barb) acting hostile to fans and veiwers are getting sick of it and jumping ship. There's some small form of cosmic justice coming out of this, at least.)

Jesus Christ, had ten pages to catch up on. I'm fucking going on a trip next Tuesday after things really happen, I'm never going to be able to keep up.

Hmmm. Vic says he’s never really been drunk before in this new stream. (13:45)

Does that conflict with what MarzGurl said about Vic being supposedly drunk at a con she was at one time?
Yeah, Vic has said many times at panels over the years that while he does drink, he's never gotten drunk. He said the idea of not being in control of himself scares him. Also his ex Michele Specht is a recovered alcoholic and I think she got clean while she was dating him.

I found it. 1:19:30. Was while he was discussing how people have been going after Vic's roles for years. Ty had mentioned it on a previous stream. Stated it wasn't just one person who contacted another one of Ty's client but several.
The client that several people went after is Todd, right? That seems obvious.

Watch the stream again (I did it twice). Notice how he goes off this tangent about a second piece of amazing news RIGHT AFTER D.C. Douglas is mentioned?

I find that interesting.

Don't have any insider info here, so don't get the wrong idea, but people tend to remember things when somebody mentions something that causes them to remember. Really got my noggin' joggin. It might come out that one of the VAs was really naughty.
I don't think it's about Douglas specifically but he was reminded of other VAs that are creeps. My current guess is it's whoever was threatening to fire people for not putting out, which could be Sabat.

Or maybe Kamehacon is only pretending to be friendly to Monica but is going to pull a fast one and release all the texts and threats they got after their show is a success. That would be funny.

There are plenty of fags here who don't grasp the fact that lawsuits, and even lolsuits, go on for literally YEARS.

They take over the lives of the people involved. It's insane.

Seriously, if you want to understand lolsuits, read Bleak House by Charles Dickens. This is how these things happen.

LOL.

Shame is a funny boy. It's amusing that he pretends he's some major player in this; that he's "in the know & runs the show" above everyone else and acting like people and companies report to a convention scrub. Pretends he's inundated with "hundreds" of twitter notifications when his tweets are 50/50 of him and just another person.

Must be a bummer to be a deluded remora that doesn't realize everyone knows and thinks he's a nobody. Even the people he sides with publicly ignore him and want nothing to do with him; it's just too funny.

Qrow was hugely outside of Vic's range as characters go, and from his introduction until like, two years ago he was anime's favourite druncle. Qrow's a complete prick, which is far outside of Vic's range as even Broly, a nominal bad guy became an anti-hero.

RWBY itself seems to be losing its way, which makes you wonder how much of the "bible" written by Monty is now being followed, or if they ran out at about Season 5 or have thrown it out the window entirely because the surviving people (Miles and Kerry) totally know how Monty's head worked.

Mind, they also seem to be trying to kill off RWBY or at least just leave it for the obsessives. They threw themselves at GEN:LOCK instead, which feels more "on message" for them being progressive faggots.

I don't know the relevance of this but Chris Sabat's "Prince of all Saiyans" Okatron tour appears to have been cancelled and refunded on short notice.

Rutroh. Let me guess - the con will do nothing about it. If there's a recording session that would mean Sabotage wouldn't be at the Rial thing yeah?

Probably. They were sort of an unwilling partner in all of this drama and likely just want to get out of it without too much blowback. They'll still get paid without picking sides in this steaming pile of autism so why bother.

Zillion to one shot - what are the chances that the "Shamefur" that will happen ~15th will result in something happening wrt wolves?

You mean, if the "shamefur" announcement involves Ren, and Ren gets hit?

I think it probably has more to do with a VA. Possibly the unmasking of Iago, if Ty managed to get enough shit together to hit him. The shamefur thing seems just like a meme.

That said, I think Ren getting hit in R1 is more likely than Marzgurl getting hit. If only because you don't have to deal with the jurisdictional bullshit. The fat orca is in Houston.

Well, that's certainly very interesting.

What would be far better than Toei demanding scalps from Funimation would be them pulling the rights to dragonball from them and then awarding it to another studio. That studio then hires Vic to continue his role as Broly in any future media, the butthurt and fallout from that would be so delicious.

This... would be a fucking honksnort
