It's not autism when you protect shit that is the main source of your income. That shit is just what you do if you're a corporation.

SJWs are taking a giant steaming shit all over their intellectual property. They're going to be enraged for completely legitimate reasons.
Oh I more meant that they have a bit of a reputation for sniffing out people that could potentially damage their brand and hounding them like attack dogs.

teamfourstar is the best example of this. until sabat stepped in, it looked like tfs was fucked.

have you seen what this shitstorm has done to dbz circles? you know toei has at least one goon regularly making the rounds for news on their brand. because they're autistically protective of them.

If I were the kind of person that would toss a wrench into the gears, and if it weren't the Kiwi way to just observe and laugh, I would ask Toei JP if that Bulma patch was official merch and if Bulma really supports the US Voice Actor's leftist politics. Or maybe stop by Rial's signing and ask if I could get her to shout some stupid lefty shit in Bulma's voice. "Believe all Women" or what have you, perhaps, because she might just be exceptional enough to do it.

Because when you see a big angry bull barely holding itself back from stampeding over one's enemy, the best thing you can do is poke it. (From a distance.)

The TFS shit is why I was sort of amazed they hadn't stepped in sooner. These gooks are crazy and even attack their own fans, so putting up with open Sabatage by people on their payroll was just amazing me.

Man, there's some real false flags going on in the chat. Trying to rally people to rape Monica at her signing. Seems Kick Vic is going at it hard tonight and last night
Wouldn't be shocked if it's not a combination of kickvic plebs and people who were sperging about Nick barely giving a shit about doxxxxxxxxxing.

Kamehacon have confirmed in a pm that the tour is cancelled, wonder why they haven't posted this on twitter yet.

im not sure, i mean the uk dub, done by blue water(a sister company of ocean)
The home video release of DBZ in English is confusing as hell. I'll try to be as concise as possible.

There are quite a couple of English dubs of DBZ that I would suggest going onto the DBZ wiki or Kanzenshuu for various releases and info.

The "Ocean" dub refers to the first two "seasons" of DBZ (about midway through Namek) that was produced by the Canadian VA group Ocean studios for Funimation. These first two "seasons" were released on DVD by Pioneer spread out by about 3 episodes per disc. Years later, Funimation released a big boxset of all these episodes named Rock the Dragon edition. Eventually, Funimation would opt to stop working with Ocean and produce the dub in-house.

The Funimation in-house dub is what's generally found in most DBZ releases from Funimation. This is where Chris Sabat and all those people are in. In 2005, they went back and dubbed the first 2 "seasons." If you go to your local store and you speak English and pick DBZ, this is what you're likely to find. The orange DVD season sets, the blu ray season sets, and the 30th anniversary blu-rays all contain this dub.

After Funimation started using in-house voice actors for seasons 3 onward, Ocean stopped their work on the series. A couple years later, Ocean along with AB Group and Westwood studios would do an alternate English dub for the rest of DBZ episodes that they had not dubbed at point. This dub is exclusive to TV broadcast as Funimation had distribution rights to North America and couple other parts of the world (and other companies in other countries sub license to them).

These TV broadcast exclusive episodes (for Canadian and UK markets) were popular enough to continue dubbing into GT and go back and do the original Dragon Ball. Ocean opted to use their cheaper studio in Calgary (Ocean is in Vancouver). That studio is known as Blue Water. Those dubs of GT and DB, like DBZ before are TV exclusive.

Hope that helps. And good luck!

KamehaCon just confirmed to someone via Facebook DM that the Sabat tour is cancelled

I am so looking forward to knowing why this is happening.

The actual truth here has to be absolutely fucking beautiful. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

This is one of those beautiful moments of uncertainty where you don't have a clue what is actually happening but you know, you absolutely KNOW that it's GOOD.

that's the thing about japan corps is that a lot happens in the background, then a lot comes out very sudden very publicly.

edit: just to clarify, i'm not saying that Toei absolutely is doing this, but they have good motivation, it fits their culture, and it fits their general attitude. plus as someone mentioned, it's likely they have a grudge against sabat. hell, it may be him they plan to go after. i dunno.
