Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

Seems fritterandtaters (I like that, I like that a lot) has gotten into a little spat with Elgin the lawyer.

"Also the rules that say to cover up your gunt in public so people don't projectile vomit are bad, but the rules that say to shave your legs are good. How financially convenient."

I love the whole video but especially that gem. It calls out the same bullshit as Tess Holliday's "eff your beauty standards while I trowel on the makeup and flamboyantly coif my hair."

The whole 'Fat Acceptance' thing is pretty much natural selection being efficient at its job in general.
It really has self-selected away a large portion of the population with the least self control.
Anna seems to have waddled her way into some sort of partnership with Gillette Venus. The replies are about as pretty as the photo

Edit: apologies if this has been posted already, I've just clocked the date on it. It appeared on my timeline today when someone I follow replied to it so I assumed it was new.
Wait a minute, was this the true purpose of the mysterious two day trip to Cuba, where she didn't do anything except go to a hotel, get drunk, and fly home?

you've all likely seen these, but I wanted to remind everyone that they're skinny on the inside.

Ah, Gillette making one terrible marketing decision after another trying to make people accept them as woke...
I still see they have no plans to improve the women's razors so they work on anyone with more than the thinnest and lightest of hair on their legs. They also haven't changed the pricing on their women's razors either. The wokest of pink tax brands!
Seriously though, fuck Gillette

"women's" razors are more expensive because the dyes needed to make them "pretty" colours women go for are a massive PITA to work with and use so it bumps up costs.

I use men's razors. I don't need pretty coloured razors to defuzz myself. Personally, I think women should be questioning their need to have shit in pretty colours, not REEing about the paytREEarkey, but that's just my take on it

jen did another weekly haul of 49 items as could be seen from the recipe she showed at the start and then proceeded to show them on camera and say how many of each item she got. strangely enough she's 8 items short, but i guess that's just a mistake on my part as i can't add.

out of 41 items she listed, 10 of them were cheese related ranging from 200g-500g packages. she also got some sausages, beef, coffee creamer, tacos, more sausages, crackers, dips, etc. as you can see the majority of it is the usual finger food you can devour in a single day without batting an eye.

i'm sure someone like her will have the power to abstain from that though.

I'm amazed at the sheer quantity of food these people thing is normal to eat. No wonder they're massively obese

Amy's Life Journey did a Costco haul. She feeds her kid ready-made pancakes (upgrading to pancake batter now) with syrup and butter every morning before school... and the other boy gets waffles.

I get it if you're a working single parent rushed off your feet and ready-made food is all you can manage for cost or time reasons. But come on, Amy doesn't really have a good excuse... give him something other than a bomb of pure sugar ever day.

Scrambled eggs with some whole grain toast and a piece of fruit are very quick and easy, too, though. Working parents can swing that, too. But I grew up on Pop Tarts and Eggos (and even worse lunches) and quite honestly find it disgusting and lazy now.

Ugh, 'pretty colors'.
Pink, lavender and all that pastel shit is so juvenile. It would be one thing if women could choose those colors out of many (and many I know opt for men's stuff just to avoid this shit) but to have everything marketed for women the same colors used for babbies, ugh.

Gillette can't sell pink razors at a premium because not enough people care what color the razor is but black and blue are easier on the eyes than pepto bismol pink. Except maybe to those who need to prove their daintyhood.

Everyone likes to gape at a freakshow. Even if they don't admit it, that's the only reason these folks have acceptance outside of that sphere.
I think it’s also a kinda reverse comparison bias. Like people stare or watch secretly thanking Jesus they don’t look ‘that bad’
Hamber also does it while watching MSHPL. This is why people are compelled to watch. For comparison. For science.

Just buy a double edge and be done for cents per blade, and they give a better shave as well, legs, pits or face. Gilette had a leak many moons ago, and the markup on their mens blades was, no joke, 5000%(!). That is ridiculous but a serious goldmine for them. Not just the females getting scammed.

Worth pointing out that Gillette owns a lot of the DE blade brands as well. So it's not a fail safe route to boycott Gillette if that's your motivation.

Packaging differs but a lot of them use only paper and card so if you're on the anti-plastic bandwagon they're good for that too.

It does take a few shaves to get the hang of it and be able to shave quickly and confidently. Then a bit longer to start getting really close shaves.

It's literally 10 cents per blade so everyone should give it a try.
