The only thing I remember about Cog's comments about it was that he disapproved but "Zoom will be Zoom" (or something to that effect.)
His main issue with it was that it was a waste of police & medical personnel's time, rather than concern for Ralph's safety/feelings/whatever.
Whether he went so far as to describe it as a joke or a prank, I can't remember.

That's false. The stream wasn't appearing due to some copyright thing with Adult Swim. A new stream was not started and the stream started working again after the video being played was stopped.

That first report regarded the hilarious animation of the space marines slayii
ng furries and the second report regarded some caller.

I admire your fervor to defend Ralph, but I already knew that and edited my post and fixed it 30 seconds before you corrected me. My apologies for trying to post on mobile since I'm at work and accidentally hit post before I had my addition finished. My theory on this is that he accepted this position in order to make sure he was on the "inside" as the fight started to take form. If he didn't, Zoom would have ostracized him and caused Andy not to be as "trusting" with him, so he'd be reporting on the happenings, not being a part of them. Short-term gains.

I think we're seeing a split between him and @Memology 101 right now behind the scenes, and he's trying to make sure he has a platform to go to if and when it implodes. Stream.me is gone, so there's no actual archives of him shitting on DLive, and he's purged his Twitter of the negative posts he made about DLive and their censorship, and how they're a shitty platform.

Ralph's clawing for relevancy at this point; numbers have declined, interaction has declined; Zidan and Gator are gone and he had to admit that publicly; the revelation that his viewcount when he came back to YouTube was actually botted hurt him. The guy is trying to maintain some relevancy at this point, and Cog's willing to do it if he thinks he can steal some of that viewcount from a "larger" YouTuber. I agree with Cog that Ralph saying he's a leech for uploading the MundaneMatt stream (after he was booted from YouTube) was a bullshit thing, but at this point they're going to do what's best for their respective shows. As a capitalist, I can understand it, but I don't like people saying they're 100% honest and trustworthy when they aren't showing it.

I've seen it happen with other channels before. People's Populist Press was taken down live mid-stream for playing something copyrighted not too many weeks ago. They only thing that confuses me is the stream kicking back on afterwards. I don't think I have seen that before to my knowledge. Normally in the past when I have seen this happen, they take you off the air period. Then you would have to start a new livestream.

Part of this make me wonder what the backend of a youtube stream actually looks like. I don't do anything with youtube other than being a viewer so I don't know if there's something that pops up where you acknowledge that you played something copyrighted and agree to not do it again during the stream and they reinstate it? That could be, but I need someone who has a channel they are willing to risk to actually start a stream and intentionally try to trip the copyright identification system.

My other guess, and I will posit this as pure theory and speculation is maybe KeemStar's inside guy he has in YouTube may be doing some Gunt Shielding. If this is true it could explain why Memology has been getting attempted flags on his channel during every single live stream of Ralph's thanks to Cow and none of them have really stuck save for one. We already know that YouTube isn't very fond of Ralph, they haven't been fond of Memology either in the past, but Keem's YouTube connection ran in to save the day at least for the Memology incident and a few others. Maybe he is actively disapproving the flags and strikes as they come in when the show is live before other YouTube admins see it and effectively keeping the show shielded. But again, it's just a theory.

Jokes aside, as far as your opining on the youtube copyright situation goes, I just want to put out there that is indeed very strange that he didn't get outright axed off of the livestreaming platform and had what was essentially a period where the audio was muted. It seems like that's a new "feature" of youtube.
